This moment was highly anticipated: last Saturday, Prince William and Duchess Catherine were immortalized on the famous bench in front of the Taj Mahal.
On the last day of their one-week trip to India and Bhutan, Prince William and his spouse Duchess Catherine, went to the Taj Mahal. 24 years after Princess Diana was photograph on the bench in front of the famous monument World Heritage of UNESCO, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a pose, smiling, in front of "the crown of the palace," that Prince William has described as "magnificent". A a poignant moment for Prince William to visit 24 years after his late mother's solo trip to the 'monument of love'.

His wife went further, saying "unbelievable (...) the romantic history of the building and its beautiful architecture." The mausoleum set with precious stones white marble was built between 1631 and 1648 by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Catherine wore  a white dress with blue embroidered motif from Indian born American fashion designer Naeem Khan's Resort 2015. She repeated her LK Bennett 'Fern' pumps, She wore the pretty blue US$7 earrings she purchased from a Bhutanese craft market during her hike to Tiger's Nest the previous

Lady Di's photo, taken in February 1992, just months before her separation from Prince Charles, had been around the world and marked the spirits as the princess had the air desperately alone, sitting on what has been dubbed " bench Lady Di ". The story will reveal later that her husband, with whom she was traveling in India, had made him leap false as tensions were already high in their relationship. Fortunately, history has not repeated and her son and daughter in law are themselves also appeared welded to their habit before this "temple of love".
