Viewing the photos immortalizing April 22nd's morning rendez-vous the Dutch King and Queen of the Netherlands, there is no doubt. Maxima and Willem-Alexander it great fun. This was also the aim of the visit to Drostenburg school in Amsterdam. The Dutch royal couple was there to launch the 4th edition of the "King of Games" (the "Koningsspelen"), an annual sporting event organized in elementary schools. For 2016, nearly 1.2 million students were participating in little over 5 000 schools.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima chose this school because it caters to children with disabilities or suffering from a chronic illness. Together with her royal husband, the young woman of 44, who had for the occasion wearing a plum colored Natan dress, DELVAUX Brillant MM Handbag, LK BENNETT Shoes brought his good humor to the event which has seen a succession festive breakfast , dance and games outside.
Certainly nothing to do with the seriousness of their commitment to the day before. Last Thursday, April 21st, Willem-Alexander and Maxima, accompanied by former Queen Beatrix, had traveled to Middelburg, the capital of Zeeland in the southwest of the country. While Beatrix opted for a set fuchsia and black round hat, her daughter-in-law was wearing a large beige cape was displayed in an orange NATAN Dress, GIANVITO ROSSI Suede Pumps on which she had pinned a dragonfly pin at the cut.
All three attended the award ceremony of the four freedoms Franklin D. Roosevelt. The prize for freedom of speech and expression, freedom of religion, freedom to live free from want and freedom from fear, adds an international award of the Four Freedoms. Which returned to German Chancellor Angela Merkel. These awards, which are based on the four freedoms proclaimed as essential to democracy by Frankin Delano Roosevelt in his historic speech before Congress January 6, 1941 are presented in odd years in the US, even years in the Netherlands whose family of this American president was from.
