These short-drop filigree earrings are beautifully detailed, and embellished with faceted beads and small, beaten coins, she wore her Ray-Ban folding wayfarers sunglasses - and William went to the Hindu site Banganga Tank, where they were welcomed by representatives of the SMILE Association, which supports local companies in this disadvantaged area of the financial capital of India. The Cambridge were greeted with garlands of flowers, and then played football with poor slum children.
Earlier, the pair had honored the victims of the Mumbai attacks in November 2008, by depositing a wreath at the Taj Hotel. It is here that Kate and William attend Sunday night at a glamorous charity dinner with Bollywood stars to raise money for the associations met in the afternoon.
The trip continues on Monday in New Delhi, then on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will visit the Kaziranga National Park in Assam, where they will meet rural communities, before traveling to Bhutan two days, and again in India on April 16 to see the Taj Mahal, before returning to the UK.
