Queen Elizabeth II is back in London

In the aftermath of her Sapphire Jubilee at Sandringham, Queen Elizabeth II is back in London.
After a long winter break at Sandringham Castle. After celebrating her 65th anniversary her accession to the British throne and of the death of her father, King George VI, Queen Elizabeth II is back in the capital. After seven weeks at her family estate in Norfolk, the Royal grandmother took the train at 10:54 a.m this Tuesday, February 7th 2017 at the King's Lynn's station, for a 90 minutes journey to King's Cross Station in London.
Arriving a few minutes before the departure, the 90-year-old sovereign was not accompanied by her husband Prince Philip. To travel, she had chosen to wear a green coat, on a dress of the same tone. She had protected her hair in a scarf tied. The scarf was in white, it was decorated with motifs evoking the seabed, between exotic fish, corals and colored plants. But as soon as she was seated in the wagon, she withdrew it.
The "Eastern Daily Press" points out that "a first-class car on the train Thameslink Great Northern was reserved for the monarch, who is believed to have bought a standard first class ticket to 56.10 pounds Trip '. This regional media broadcast in Norfolk also states that the station manager, who escorted her from the platform to the train, said they had exchanged jokes and talked about the weather.
Usually it was by this same train that Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, joined their castle of Sandringham a few days before Christmas. However this year, due to a strong flu that affected them both, the royal couple had to resolve to break with the tradition and had embarked on December 21, 2016 aboard a helicopter.
