For besides the fact that Her Majesty, who has just turned 90, has hardly accustomed to shopping itself, it is indeed perhaps not uninteresting to note that the royal family spent in in 2015 some 1.3 million pounds (1.65 million euros) to fill his pantry or 25,000 pounds per week. The expenses of the royal family are partly funded by British taxpayers, who paid as such 37.9 million pounds in fiscal year 2014-15. According to the Sunday Times, Elizabeth II is the head of a fortune estimated at about 340 million pounds (431 million euros).
