Queen Elizabeth II is back in London for the past week. Arriving a few minutes before the departure, the 90-year-old sovereign was not accompanied by her husband Prince Philip. To travel, she had chosen to wear a green coat, on a dress of the same tone. She had protected her hair in a scarf tied. The scarf was in white, it was decorated with motifs evoking the seabed, between exotic fish, corals and colored plants. But as soon as she was seated in the wagon, she withdrew it.

In addition to sculptures, textiles, ceramics, weapons and clothing, Elizabeth was able to see a video showing her while she was staying in these islands in 1953, when the island was still part of the British colonial empire.

Tea time with the ladies at the Women Institute

Smiling and in good health this Thursday January 19th Queen Elizabeth II put a smile those who were still worried about her state of health after her "big cold" late last year. With two public appearances mostly to attend Mass on two consecutive Sundays, the 90-year-old sovereign asumed her first official appointment of 2017. Her Majesty always a fan of bright colors, was wearing a bright fuchsia-colored coat on a dress combining the tone of pink with red, and was welcomed by the chapter's vice-president in the area Of Sandringham. Queen Elizabeth II was seen on Sunday to attend Mass with her nephew David Armstrong-Jones, a few days after the death of his father Lord Snowdon.

Like the previous Sunday, the 90 year old sovereign went to service this Sunday January 15th 2017 with her husband 95 year old Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The couple didn't attend to their usual St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, the royal couple attended the religious service celebrated at St Mary the Virgin Church in the neighbouring village of Flitcham .

For this Sunday outing in the rain, the monarch, who was sheltering under a transparent umbrella bordered by black, had opted for a purple mantle with black collar and gold buttons on a matching dress. She was wearing a hat coordinated with her outfit, stitched with black oak leaves.

While last Sunday Queen Elizabeth II was accompanied by her grandson Prince William, his wife the Duchess of Cambridge, and the Middleton family, she appeared this time alongside her nephew David Armstrong-Jones and his wife Serena. David is the son of her late sister Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones, whose death was officially announced two days earlier.

Antony Armstrong-Jones had been created the first count Snowdon by Queen Elizabeth II in 1961. After his death, the title passed on to his son David, who became second count Snowdon. "The Telegraph" points out that Elizabeth II was always close to the children of her younger sister -David Armstrong-Jones and Lady Sarah Chatto and would have been "deeply saddened" by the death of Lord Snowdon. The duchess appeared in her forest green Sportmax coat belted at the waist first seen on Christmas Day 2015 and again last February for a day of engagements in Scotland. She accessories with a new Cossack style hat, carbon colorway Emmy London ‘Valerie’ heels, an unidentified printed scarf. The   young woman, who was celebrating her 35th birthday the next day, had her whole family around her.

 The whole Middleton had been invited to attend this service in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II. And this year Carole and Michael Middleton, the parents of  Duchess Catherine, and James and Pippa, her brother and sister, were accompanied by a newcomer James Matthews, the fiance of Pippa-who will be getting married on May 20th-had been invited too.

A little news from our lovely Queen Elisabeth II

It is not known whether she will attend this Sunday January 8th Mass at Sandringham. But Queen Elizabeth II has indeed resumed her activities in early 2017.

Queen Elizabeth II has not pointed the tip of her nose outside for several weeks now. Haven't caught a big cold which has prevented her from attending her annual Christmas service with the rest of the royal family celebrated at St Mary Magdalene Church. A week later, not yet feeling well, she also missed the new year service.  And many people are wondering if she will be present for this Sunday, January 8th 2017? We'll have to wait until then to find out.

However, the 90 old sovereign seems to be feeling much better. A few days ago a source close to the Palace had assured that she was back "on her feet" and has been up to date on current affairs. The contents of her red boxes, her famous red boxes marked ER (Elizabeth Regina) containing the various official documents transmitted to her by the government and her representations in the Commonwealth.

MR's British & Canadian Courts: When Her Majesty speaks in French

While being in the warmth and comfort of her duvet at Sandringham castle in Norfolk where she is recovering from a "big cold", Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was no less present on social networks. No doubt this message was recorded on the same day as that of the Christmas message when Queen Elizabeth II paid tribute to the "ordinary heroes." In the same setting at the Regency Room in Buckingham Palace decorated with a Christmas tree and white and red bouquets - the 90 year old Monarch wore the same turquoise blue dress.



Her Majesty appeared with the same white pearl necklace. However, she changed her brooch to that of the Maple Leaf Crystal. A delicate gesture towards Canadians as the Maple Leaf is their national leaf and emblem



This jewel, which was recently seen on the Duchess of Cambridge, was adorned three times during The Cambridges visit to Canada last fall with her husband Prince William and their two children,  is dated back to 1939 a gift given by King George VI  to his wife the queen consort Elizabeth as a prelude to their journey to Canada, the first of a British sovereign to his Canada subjects 

The British Royal Courts: A dreamy evening gala for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

In November 2015, around 25 000 tickets of the four festive evenings organized on the royal domain of Windsor Castle after six months -from May 12th to 15th 2016- to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II had ran out in just three hours after its availability. I must say that the program was attractive: parades of some 900 horses and 1,500 artists, including dancers, musicians and actors from around the world. And it was expected that for the last performance that counted 6,000 spectators and was broadcast on British television on Sunday May 15th evening, the sovereign attended , in a white outfit completely covered with turquoise lace by her seamstress Angela Kelly, but she was not alone, far from it! Princess Anne appeared on horseback, like her daughter Zara Phillips-Tindall, her little brother Prince Edward and his daughter Lady Louise one aged 12. All four participated in a parade featuring horses belonging to Elizabeth. Also in the stands were The Kents, The Gloucesters,


Passionate equestrian since childhood, the Queen arrived with the Duke of Edinburgh her husband in the coach's Diamond Jubilee, could only dream most beautiful sight. Seated to the left was her honour guest the King of Bahrain, Elizabeth II saw her live footage on the big screen for two hours, while succeeded numbers with horses, came to some of Oman, Chile, Canada and Azerbaijan, and the participation of artists.
