The Spanish Royal Courts: Their Majesties sign the condolence books at the Belgian Embassy

Dressed in black, King Felipe VI of Spain was on March 23rd alongside hiswife Letizia to honor the victims of the attacks which made the day before 31 dead and 260 injured (still provisional balance sheet) at the international airport and the subway in Brussels. The royal couple went to the residence of the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Spain, Pierre Labouverie  to express their condolences and sign the register open after these murderous attacks.

The Spanish Royal House says, expressing their solidarity and affection for the people of Belgium, the King and Queen of Spain asked the Belgian ambassador in Madrid to convey to the injured and their families in the name the Spanish people, their wish for a speedy recovery.

"The pain of Belgium is now also the pain of Spain"
Letizia co-signed the message written by her husband Felipe VI in the condolence book. This indicates:

"After the terrible terrorist attacks yesterday in Brussels we want above all to express our condemnation and the strongest horror.

 The pain of Belgium is today the pain of Spain. The Brussels pain is pain across Europe. Our unity is our strength against the aggression to life, liberty and our peaceful coexistence.

 With all our affection and solidarity we express our support for all affected families and our mourning for the victims. "
