The Spanish Royal Courts: A visit from newly elected Portugal President

Although the sovereign couple cant perform oversee state visits because of the lack of government in their country, the King and Queen of Spain can not receive. This March 17th Don Felipe VI  and Doña Letizia barely returned from their one-day trip to Puerto Rico, welcomed Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa newly elected president of the Republic of Portugal. This conservative former law professor aged 67, was accompanied by Rita Amaral Cabral, his partner since 1982, although the couple does not live together.
Elected President of the Portuguese Republic in the first round on 24 January 2016, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa was sworn in on March 9. Suffice to say that it did not take long to visit his nearest neighbor, Spain. King Felipe VI the first received for a meeting in the Hall of Tapestries from the Royal Palace in Madrid. If his wife Queen Letizia was not with them, she joined them later for dinner the royal couple offered to their guests. For the occasion, the mother of two wore a black full midi skirt from Hugo Boss who keeps in her closet since early 2015 and which we have seen with a white shirt also Boss, with a shirt sailor stripes in blue and white and now with a top made in 'georgette' black sheer sequin blouse by Felipe Varela.

To complete her look, the wife of Felipe VI accessories with a black patent leather pumps signed by Magrit donned and wore a small clutch purse Felipe Varela. Doña Letizia combed her hair in a tousled bun style that exposed black diamond teardrop earrings from Swiss firm De Grisogono. It was a gift for the birth of the then Infanta Leonor, although it is unknown if it was brand or who gave them or Don Felipe.
