13:29:00

The Crown Prince Couple surprised everyone when their 5 year old twins Josephine and Vincent got Greenlandic names Ivalo for Princess Josephine and Minik for Prince Vincent when they were baptized.

In Josephine's name Ivalo was included, which among other things means little sister, and Vincent's name included Minik, which among other things can mean still, small snow.
When they are in Greenland, they are not called Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine but Princess Ivalo and Prince Minik a name given to a fund that has just awarded three scholarships to study abroad, writes the Greenlandic media Sermitsiaq.

Education abroad
The purpose of Ivalo & Minik Foundation is to award scholarships to Greenlanders who want to take an international higher education or an international educational courses, including an internship in a company or organization.

The three lucky recipients Hans Peder Kirkegaard and Melisa Larsen, who each received a scholarship to study in the US and Majken Djurhuus Poulsen who have received a scholarship to study in London.

The scholarships are funded based on donations from Royal Arctic Line A / S, Royal Greenland A / S, Greenland's Trade and NunaFonden. Foundation, which has worked since 2012 - the year after the twins were born and baptized.
