Fashion week in this Scandinavian country has returned with the Copenhagen Fashion Week. This Tuesday, January 31st 2017, the Crown Princess opened the 2017 Copenhagen Fashion Week in Copenhagen. Like every year at this time, stylish future queen consort did not miss this fashionable events for fashion creators of the Nordic countries.

At 13 am, she arrive at Copenhagen City Hall took part in the lunch followed by a show that officially launched the event. Three hours later she went to the Hotel d'Angleterre where she hands out the Designers Nest Award.

With such a program, the wife of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark was elegant as ever. The young woman, who will celebrate her 45th birthday this Sunday, wore a new OLE YDE Copenhagen Jonni Coat, cigarette pants, and a white jumper. The Australian-born Crown Princess attended a special occasion on January 27th the Women's Board Awards 2017 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She gave a speech and presented the award at the Women's Board Award arrangement with the company AIG in Frederiksberg. Mary was also even introduced as a royal role model and the Crown Princess lived really up to the fine words, although she seemed a little confused about the title. The awards was given to TDC's executive director Pernille Erenbjerg.

The SOVI workshop toured by Princess Marie

Princess Marie visited on Friday the sheltered workshop SOVI autism, where the princess was given a tour and an insight into their daily work.

Dressed in blue Ralph Lauren blazer with a black top and black pants visited Friday afternoon employees of the sheltered workshop SOVI in Herlev, where she was given a tour of a few of the workshop departments. Among the assembly department where employees during the year have different assembly tasks. And employee Helene Larsen told more about her work and explained princess, what she wants to enter into with the moment.

On January 19th, she attended her first solo working meeting of 2017 with Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) to help shape a new action aimed at strengthening local networks. She wore a grey Isabel Marant tweed jacket with a new pink blouse and black pants

The Inauguration of Aarhus(the European Capital of MultiCuturalism

Patroness of the event, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark kick off on January 21st "Aarhus 2017".

As the second largest city in Denmark after capital Copenhagen, Aarhus is one of the two European capitals of culture (the other being Paphos on the island of Cyprus). There was quite a joyous moment as she inaugurated the occasion spoke before 1,300 guests at the Musikhuset (Concert Hall) in Aarhus. Then the opening ceremony continued on a stage outside. Wrapped in a fur coat, Margrethe then brandished a small bright white boat, thus giving the start of a procession through the city on the theme of the Vikings.

Leading up to the harbor, it brought together thousands of singers, musicians and other participants who, like their queen, held a small lantern boat decorated with drawings, hopes or wishes. Evolved on this human tide six large ships of 10 to 12 meters in length.

"Aarhus 2017" will offer, throughout the year, several hundred cultural and sporting events in the city of Aarhus and more generally in the region of Central Jutland. With the theme "Let's Rethink", an invitation to rethink the territory in order to bring lasting solutions to the challenges of the 21st century.

The Heart's and its wellness on the agenda for Crown Princess Mary

On Tuesday January 17th, 2017, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark was on her way to the Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, and had an appointment with doctors to present an innovative research project. The two-year program consists of offering parents of children born in Copenhagen take an ultrasound of their heart. Amongst the requirements were:  the ultrasounds must be performed within the first 14 days of the life of these infants.

Named "Copenhagen Baby Heart," the goal of this program, which aims to screen about 30,000 newborns, is to gain a better understanding of the number of children who come into the world with heart problems. "It allows us to study the benefits of a complete cardiac analysis right after birth to detect and eventually treat congenital heart defects," says the Palais.

To the experts' explanations, the future Queen Consorts, who wore a pair of black trousers on a pearl-black gray coat, was able to add the practice. On the occasion of this visit, the young mom of 4 attended the ultrasound of a baby, well mounted on a cushion placed on the legs of his mother.

After visiting children, their parents and knowing more about how to detect and provide treatments about heart disease, there was also talk at the Hotel d'Angleterre in Copenhagen, where the research fellowships awarded by "Hjerteforeningens" (the Heart Association) and Bornehjertefondens (the Foundation Heart of child) of which Mary of Denmark is the mtron. Before and after this ceremony, the Princess, herself a mother of four children, did not fail to meet young boys and girls suffering from congenital heart defects and their families.

Launch of AntiBulli

Finish the tiaras and evening dress. It is in a casual look that the Crown Princess who arrived in a black Hugo Boss coat featuring leather pockets, her Cartier bracelet and a pair of Hartmanns diamond earrings, made her first solo engagement of the year, this Saturday, January 7th in the small town of Silkeborg, west of Aarhus.

Mary of Denmark wore a black tshirt, with the inscription in white letters "Antibulli". The name of the new project of her foundation, the Mary Fonden, which came for its launching. Addressing young Danish handball players between the ages of 6 and 12, Antibulli aims to promote greater tolerance and respect between these youngsters in the practice of their sport.

 And to better convey her message, the Australian born Crown Princess had invited a special guest. In addition to the children and coaches of the teams participating in this pilot project, Mary was with Mikkel Hansen. A danish handballers who plays in the Denmark handball national team -which won the gold this summer 2016 at the Olympic Games of Rio- and evolves since 2012 in the French club of Paris Saint-Germain Handball. The Palace pointed out that Antibulli had been developed in cooperation between Mary Fonden and MH24, the association of Mikkel Hansen against bullying.

Talking about sport, that same day in the evening sports was in for Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark who went to Herning, about forty kilometers from his wife's appointment. The awards were presented by Danmarks Radio, the Danish public radio and television station. The opportunity for the eldest son and heir to hand one of them to Pernille Blume for his Olympic performance. The 22-year-old swimmer reported, from the recent Rio Games, a gold medal and a team bronze.

Crown Princess Mary honored with a special award

For Crown Princess Mary, Tuesday January 10th 2017 will remain a very special day to remember as she receive the Berlingske Foundation Prize. It happened at a prestigious event in Pilestræde in centre Copenhagen.

Crown Princess Mary has tried a little of everything in her engagement in recent years, but it was obvious that it was something totally special for her to receive the Berlingske Foundation Award.

Crown Princess Mary put in his acceptance speech not hide the fact that she was touched by the award.

She explained that it meant a lot for her to receive the award, in recognition of her efforts in the Danish community service in her capacity as both patron and initiator of many projects to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable groups in society.

Most especially her work at her Mary Foundation framework, which focuses on supporting the fight against bullying of children, has been noticed.

Queen Margrethe arrive in style for the last and final New Years reception

On Wednesday, Queen Margrethe II joined the Crown Prince couple at Christiansborg Castle on board her coach.

The coach of King Christian VIII of Denmark (1786-1848) a hand made beauty by the coachbuilder Henry Fife in 1840, this gold car plated with 24-carat gold leaves, pulled by six white horses, adorned with the Queen's coat of arms on its doors and four crowns at each corner of its roof was released again this Wednesday, January 4th 2017 in Copenhagen. As it did every year since her 1972 coronation, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark took her place there to visit the palace of Amalienborg as part of the New Year's ceremonies at Christiansborg Castle.

She was escorted by the regiment of the Hussars of the Danish Royal Guard. The inside of the coach, padded, is arranged for two people. But just as last year, it was only the sovereign who sat in the carriage through Copenhagen's street, her husband Prince Henrik having asserted his rights to the royal retirement on January 1st 2016 .

At her arrival at Christiansborg Castle, Margrethe met with her eldest son Crown Prince Frederik and his wife. The trio received representatives of the armed forces, the Danish Emergency Management Agency, major national organizations and royal patrons on the last day of New Year ceremonies. Crown Princess Mary had opted for the occasion for a long fuchsia dress and a cape in exactly the same tone. The one she wore already for the dinner of the 1st of January in the evening, on her gilded robe.

The monarch wore, as on previous eve and in previous years, his "dress of vows": a long blue brocade dress at night with officer collar and brown fur cuffs under a fur coat.



Day 2 of the New Year receptions, the Crown Prince Couple met HM Queen Margrethe at Christianborg

On Tuesday, the Crown Prince Couple, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary stood beside Queen Margrethe II for the traditional  annual diplomatic reception.

As a tradition every first days of a new year, Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II host various receptions on the occasion. This Tuesday, January 3rd, the sovereign held the diplomatic reception at Christiansborg in Copenhagen. And as is the custom, she was accompanied by her eldest son and heir Crown Prince Frederik and his wife, Crown Princess Mary.

For this reception, the Danish monarch appeared, unsurprisingly, dressed in the habit she usually wore for this ceremony: a long blue night dress in brocade with matching jacket decorated with an officer collar and brown fur cuffs. She wore it on her arrival under a long fur coat.

Whilst the Crown Princess was seen in a silver gray dress from the Danish Heartmade label, combining a plain bodice with a skirt entirely covered with a lace with a geometric shape. She coordinated it with  GIANVITO ROSSI pumps and Hugo Boss clutch and a pair of white gloves. Princess Mary chose to show off her little earrings by wearing a half-tail. As for her husband, Prince Frederik, he was in uniform, all medals pending.


The first royal receptions banquet of the year open by the Danish Royal

As a yearly tradition, TRH Crown Princess Mary and Princess Marie of Denmark launched the 2017 Royal Year by attending HM Queen Margrethe II's New Year's Eve dinner.

Each of the royal ladies donned an evening gown and pulled out their tiaras for the first reception of the year. It is indeed customary for the Danish sovereign to host a New Year reception, on the first evening of the year, inviting representatives of the government, officials, and members and employees of the Royal Court at the Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen.

While the two sons of the monarch, Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim, had donned their uniforms, their wives rivaled in elegance. Crown Princess Mary had opted for a golden dress with the flared skirt created by Danish designer Jesper Hovring from his AW 2016 collection, whom she wore under a fuchsia cape. The future Queen-to-be matched her Danish Ruby Parure tiara with together with the Danish crown ruby, pearl and diamond sets, Judith Lieber box clutch

Around her Diamond Floral Tiara and a large ring coordinated to her right index finger, her sister-in-law, the 40-year-old Princess Marie, preferred a tight-fitting silver dress signed by another Danish designer, Ole Yde. As for their mother-in-law, Margrethe II, accompanied by her husband, Prince Henrik, in a tuxedo, the latter appeared in a sky-blue robe highlighted with rose, a stole in gray fur on her shoulders. On the jewelry side, the Queen of Denmark was wearing her Pearl Poire Tiara; her necklace, brooch, and earrings come from the pearl, diamond, and ruby set
And all had passed around their necks their necklace of the prestigious Danish order of the Elephant.

The Danish Royal Courts: A specatular photo exihibition of the Crown Princely Couple *May 12th

Crown Prince Frederik might not have accompanied his wife during the day. However, it was at his side, in the day by the image. The future Danish King had visited the premises of the Gammel Strand -a modern art institution which is a patron- Copenhagen, to discover the Mario Testino exhibition opened from May 13th to September 18th 2016, the first dedicated to the famous fashion photographer in Denmark. Among the pictures hanging on the chair rails, was a double portrait of Frederik and Mary.

The Danish Royal Courts: Fashion consciousness at Amalienbourg Palace

This May 12th at 9:45 am(Danish time), Crown Princess Mary of Denmark gave the opening speech of the "Copenhagen Fashion Summit." Standing in the Danish capital as the name suggests, this international conference is the largest global event on sustainability in fashion. It brings together 1,200 people in the Koncerthuset, the symphony hall built from 2003 to 2009 by the French architect Jean Nouvel. Learn together international key players in the fashion industry, experts of the issue and opinion makers, but also politicians and NGO representatives and media. She looked elegant in a H&M Lace Skirt from their Conscious Exclusive Collection, accessorized with PRADA Nude Pointed Toe Pump, her usual NALEDI Copenhagen Allana Clutch

But the future Danish Queen Consort did not wait for Thursday to discuss sustainable fashion. Wednesday May 11th in the evening, she gave a dinner in preparation for the event with accompanied by her husband Crown Prince Frederik at the Amalienborg Palace. For the occasion, the young woman of 44, her hair tied in a bun, had chosen to wear a black dress shimmering sleeveless asymmetric skirt accessorized with lemon yellow shoes. This dress was signed H & M Conscious Collection, the eco-friendly line of the famous Swedish brand. A choice of course dictated by the theme of the evening.

Passionate about fashion, always very elegant Crown Princess Mary who patronages including "Designers' Nest" professional and international platform for young graduates Nordic designers.

On May 10, 2016, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark attended the official opening of the European Conference IDAHO Forum at Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen. (This year the Government of Denmark is hosting the 4th European conference IDAHO Forum marking the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia)

On May 04th she held a meeting for Mary Foden(Mary Foundation's presidium 2016 (Mary Fondens præsidiemøde 2016)  at the Frederik VIII room at Amalienborg Palace, in Copenhagen. She arrived in her orange Hugo Boss Denna Strech Dress and spoke about the foundation future plans in her section of the report and thanked the presidium for their support of the foundation's work.
