Last week I had announce through Twitter that Queen Margrethe II will be showing us insides the official residences of the Danish Royal family.

In a new Danish series "Queen slotte" Queen Margrethe invites the viewers to the most private areas of the royal family - their homes. All 4 main residences: Amalienborg(The royal family winter home), Marselisborg(it is a royal residence in Aarhus. It has been the summer residence of Queen Margrethe II since 1967), Fredensborg Castle(Fredensbourg Castle is a palace located on the eastern shore of Lake Esrum in Fredensborg on the island of Zealand) and Gråsten Castle

In the first episode where she tours Amalienbourg Palace, she declares that she wishes for her grand son Prince Christian who is second in line to the throne after his father Crown Prince Frederik will inherit Christian IX Palace when he becomes the Monarch.

She said on the subject   "I imagine that Christian - my grandson - moves into the Christian IX's Palace, when the time comes, " who acknowledges that she is quite adventurous when she arranges the palaces. She also says that she is excited about the strong and warm colors.
The tour included
A trip down the "secret staircase", a walk in the triangular garden behind the mansion and the view from the landing where the musicians play during dinner reception at the Royal Dining Hall.

Her Majesty the Queen of organizations and renovation:
A visit through the many chambers where Her Majesty tells us the usage of each rooms, their various significants and unique styles. The style is kept, to suit the surroundings, and many of the rooms are furnished with Victorian style and fabric on the walls. Along the way, Queen Margrethe talks among other things chairs which were from her mother Queen Ingrid's time, includes also the big bed in King room, whose blue cover is from a special source of inspiration.

The route also passes the Queen's study, which is famously known from her annual New Year speech. Here you can also see the more personal decor that is reflected in the Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik's private quarters.
