After a presentation with her daughter Pauline and facetious sea lions on Wednesday, Princess Stephanie of Monaco and her family attended the opening night of the 41st Monte-Carlo Circus Festival on January 19th evening.

This first performance took place under the marquee set up annually in Fontvieille's neighborhood, not far from the Rock. On this occasion the Princess was accompanied by her elder brother, Prince Albert of Monaco - whilst sister in law Princess Charlene stayed home with their twins, Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

Stephanie of Monaco was also accompanied by her children daughter Pauline and son Louis - who attended as last year with his charming companion, Marie. Whilst younger sister Camille, wasn't in attendance, but she should most probably attend the next performances, as she does every year.

More than 120 artists from 16 countries will perform until January 29tg, 2017. For 10 days, the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival will make Monegasques vibrate, with Stephanie of Monaco leading the way. President of the event, the little sister of Prince Albert II has never hidden his passion for circus art.

Launched in 1974 by his father Prince Rainier III of Monaco on the occasion of the 25 years of his reign, this festival is now under the responsibility of the princess. And the future seems assured since Stéphanie de Monaco passed on her passion to her daughter, Pauline Ducruet, who accompanies her every year at the Festival.
