Currently in Davos, Switzerland, HM King Philippe spoke about water with American actor Matt Damon while HM queen Mathilde discuss about education with the pop star Shakira.
Arriving earlier, alone the previous day for the opening show at Davos in Switzerland on Monday January 16th 2017 at the 23rd Crystal Awards ceremony held in preparation for the 47th World Economic Forum. On Tuesday she was joined by her husband King Philippe to take part in this famous annual forum in the world of economics and finance in Swiss soil.
The Belgian Court had indicated that the royal couple, was accompanied by Prime Minister Charles Michel and several ministers, would take part in the meeting, from Tuesday 17 to Thursday 19, in various meetings, working sessions and conferences, and then a promotional reception about Belgium.
As usual The Palaace did not disappoint to share some highlighting moments of this program on their social networks. One can see Mathilde and Philippe, either alone or together, in the company of the new Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres, UNESCO's ambassadors or even business leaders. But also with three humanitarian stars: the Colombian pop singer Shakira and the American actors Matt Damon and Forest Whitaker.
