The Swedish Royal Courts: Prince Oscar present at grand dad party

This is a double celebration on April 30th to mark a milestone for the Swedes. While they were celebrating the 70th anniversary of their sovereign King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden, they could see his grand son Prince Oscar, who has not yet 2 months, make his official debut.

Well wrapped in a hooded jacket and trousers in gray wool, wearing the hat from Norwegian brand called Lillelam and small matching shoes to the feet, the baby was indeed in the arms of his mother Crown Princess Victoria, who was in white, when the royal family, was at the balcony of the Palace in Stockholm to greet the crowd.

If Oscar was immortalized by photographers sleeping soundly, several shots also show the eyes open, wincing slightly at the ceremony that followed. No doubt he discovered the sound of continuous shots that he will have to get used to.

Since his birth on March 2, several shots of Prince Oscar had been announced by the Royal House of Sweden. His first official portrait was taken when he was 5 days. Followed two photographs, one in the arms of his mother Princess Victoria, the other in those of its big sister, the little Princess Estelle 4 years old.

Second child of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband Prince Daniel consort, Prince Carl Olof Oscar is third in the order of succession to the Swedish crown, after Victoria and Estelle.
