The British Royal Courts: The Unveiling at the National Portrait Gallery

This Wednesday, May 4th Catherine ended her day of engagements on her way to the National Portrait Gallery, London museum which she has been matron since 2012. The young woman of 34 years also discovered there, hanging on the picture rails of the exhibition " 100 Vogue: A Century of Style, "the two photographs representative. These pictures, which were unveiled by the British edition of "Vogue" magazine on May 1st, were taking by the photographer Josh Olins. They represent the Duchess of Cambridge in her natural element at the Norfolk countryside where she lives with Prince William her husband and their two children, Prince George, 2 years and 9 months, and Princess Charlotte, who celebrated her first birthday this Monday, May 2nd

The Duchess Catherine, who for the occasion was wearing a powder pink Alexander McQueen pleated peplum dress with an added a touch of glamour to the ensemble with her dazzling Monica Vinader 'Riva' Diamond Cluster bib necklace and matching earrings, LK Bennett accessories from earlier today which consisted of the 'Fern' trench leather pumps and matching 'Nina' frame clutch bag.  given to pumps and a nude bag, sporting a fancy necklace and matching earrings.

Narrating the visit, the "Telegraph" reported that, according to Nicholas Cullinan, director of the National Portrait Gallery, Kate was very interested in the pictures in this exhibition dedicated to the centenary of "Vogue" UK. He said she had "a real understanding of the history of art and photography, but also real enthusiasm for it."
