The Danish Royal Courts: Crown Princess Mary in a week of Royal engagements

On Thursday February 4th, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary had a number of engagements. In the afternoon, she attended a conference on humanitarian crisis, sexual and reproductive health and rights at Christianborg Palace. During her speech she laid emphasis on rape victims, early maternal death, forced marriages, and related solutions. The conference was organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Family Planning and the International Planned Parenthood Forum. Crown Princess Mary is a senior member of UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) Mission Force and the patron of many non governmental organizations fighting for the rights of women and girls.
Later in the evening she presented the Cancer Society's Honour Award 2016 (Kræftens Bekæmpelses Hæderspris) in connection with World Cancer Day(which is celebrate on Feb 4th). The award ceremony took place at Copenhagen Royal Theatre.

The previous day on February 3rd, Crown Princess Mary visited the opening of Copenhagen Fashion Week. She also visited fashion designer Jesper Hovring at the Hotel D'Angleterre. For the occasion she wore Fonnesbech Aignon Coat, DAY Birger et Mikkelsen Day Blousing, Quidam Grey Calfskin Clutch, Gianvito Rossi Leopard-Print Calf Hair Pumps.
As the patron of Maternity Foundation, on February 2nd 2016 she received a 100,000 kr donation made by Inner Wheel Club to the Maternity Foundation, which is presented by Inner Wheel Coordinator, Benedicte Haubro. The reception took place at Frederik VIII's Palace in Amalienborg. (Inner Wheel Clubs are represented in United Nations in by 7 representatives i.e 2 in Vienna, 2 in Geneva and 3 in New York. They are the consultant representatives in the committees of women status, children rights, senility, family and drugs.)
