Monday, February 22nd The King  attended the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) 50th anniversary.
The festivities began at SIPRI's headquarters in Solna, where the institution's president Sven-Olof Petersson and President of the Institute Dan Smith welcomed.

Then the King gave speeches and raised SIPRI's role in an increasingly complex world where decision makers need reliable facts from objective sources. The SIPRI is one such source, which contributed to the institution's success.
