Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark presents the awards for Elite Research (EliteForsk) at a ceremony at the Glyptoteket Art Museum in Copenhagen on February 25, 2016. The aim of Elite Research as an organisation is to highlight and encourage the efforts and achievements of young Danish researchers. Since 2007, five Eliteforsk research awards have been awarded annually. Each award comes with a research grant of 100,000 Danish kroner (approximately $15,000) and a cash prize of 20,000 kroner.
