The British Royal Courts: Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall in North Yorkshire

After a first day solo in North Yorkshire, Prince Charles met on Thursday his dear wife Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall to continue their visit to the region hit hard by floods last December.

He had gone only the day before in the town of Redcar where the closure of local steel mill causes nearly 2 000 job cuts. But it is in the company of his wife Camilla that the Prince of Wales appeared this February 18 at Stamford Bridge. For the occasion, the Duchess of Cornwall wore a raspberry-colored cloak on which she had pinned two pins dragonflies and she wore a black dress with paisley print.

The program of the royal couple, a meeting with residents and business owners affected by the floods, as well as representatives of "The Prince's Business Resilience Emergency Group". This helps businesses and communities across the UK prepare to respond and recover from emergencies such as floods, cyber attacks and civil unrest.

From there Charles and Camilla went to Harrogate where they attended an event marking the 50th anniversary of the International Festivals created in 1966 to host the months this spa town and its industry. They could hear occur soprano Lesley Garrett, clarinetist Emma Johnson and cellist Julian Lloyd Webber, and most unusual, meet "speaking plant".

After visiting a hospital, the love birds went into the Taylors tea rooms , a family business founded in 1886 which are also offered cooking classes. Charles and Camilla laid their hands dirty alongside children and left with two Easter eggs on behalf of their grand children Prince George and Baby Charlotte.
