Prince William Duke of Cambridge was alongside his wife Catherine Duchess of Cambridge to celebrate the end of the mission of the Royal Air Force search and rescue in Anglesey, this Thursday, February 18, 2016.

It is in this division of the RAF that Prince William earned his captain's stripes, having started as co-driver. The grand-son of Queen Elizabeth II and father of 2 attended over 150 rescue operations off the coast of Wales.

Indeed, the ceremony on Thursday attended by the couple marked the end of the mission of the RAF, after 75 years. The ceremony was an opportunity to commemorate the men and women who, over the decades, often put their lives at risk to save those of others. It was also an opportunity for the former commander of Prince William to praise the "captain Wales": "This is a very good driver. His passing examination captaincy was very difficult and he has more than succeeded. And he knew how to live, eat, work with his team. He was just one of the guys a family member ".

Today, Prince William was engaged as pilot helicopter ambulance to a civilian company, managed by a non-profit organization. Its base is located in Cambridge, not far from his house Anmer Hall, where Prince lives with his wife Kate and their two children, George and Charlotte.
Her Royal Highness wore a  LK BENNETT Ami Coat(The wool-blend coat features military styling with a high collar, epaulets, and a waist-clinching belt), MAPPIN & WEBB Earrings, Sylvia Fletcher for Lock & Company 'Betty Boop' style hat, Emmy 'Valerie' chocolate brown suede and matching Emmy 'Natasha' clutch, Cornelia James 'Imogen' wool gloves.
