Once again, Elizabeth II had chosen the color of her outfit wisely. To dive into this elevator February 23rd to 28 meters under the Bond Street station to meet in their orange neon work clothes, workers engaged in the work of Pharaonic Crossrail, opted for a purple coat and matching hat. She was also presented with the logo of the new metro line which was at the heart of his visit. Unveiled a logo that day and reveals that it will be called in her honor of her 90th birthday"Elizabeth line."
"While offering a radical improvement of transport in the capital, Elizabeth line will provide a lasting tribute to our monarch," said Mayor of London, Boris Johnson. A strong tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, who will soon celebrate its 90 years, was in fact the first British monarch to visit the London Underground in 1969 at the inauguration of the Victoria line. First metro in the world, it was however already old nearly a century since it was dated 1863.
