With the start of the Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund, Crown Prince Haakon opened the ceremony by congratulating the industry for the great growth both locally and internationally.

Crown Prince pointed to this positive development in his opening speech and gave Film Festival's share of the credit for the growth period Norwegian film is built in. The festival plays a key role in the contact between the Norwegian, Nordic and international film industry, and has received wide international recognition for the program New Nordic Films where filmmakers from all corners of the world come together on projects across national borders.

The film, HRH Crown Prince will see tonight is  wave -  Roar Uthaug disaster movie where  mountain party Åkneset breeds out in the Geiranger Fjord and creates a flodbøle that clash over the settlements around the bay.

Tomorrow, Thursday, is more Norwegian film on the poster for Prince Haakon. He shall be at the premiere of  Kari Anne Moe documentary  Pobla - a film  that is supported by Kronprinsparets funds.

Hooligans tells the stories of some of the long-term unemployed young people who receive help through fund partner, Pøbelprosjektet, to get their lives back on track. In festival mention of the film states:
