Her Majesty Queen Silvia attended the German Sustainability Award 2015 (Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis) held at the Maritim Hotel in Duesseldorf, Germany on November 27, 2015. (The German Sustainability Award was established in 2008 to encourage the acceptance of social and ecological responsibility and to identify role models in this area. On Wednesday November 25th a Queen Silvia Jubilee Fund board meeting was held in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen in her capacity as the Chairman of the Board.
The Queen Silvia Jubilee Fund main aim is for research on children and disability and was founded on Her Majesty's 50th birthday.

The meeting dealt applications submitted to the Foundation. The Fund annually awards grants that can be applied for by students admitted to postgraduate studies in colleges and universities in the country. Each year, a priority area of ​​research which is published in conjunction with the call for applications advertised. 2015 theme "Hidden recurring or chronic disability among children - medical and psychological consequences"

The Queen's Jubilee Fund announces every year around the Queen's birthday on December 23, who received the scholarships.
