The British Royal Courts: Duchess of Cambridge visited Anne Freud centre

14:29:00

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge was on Tuesday, December 15 at the Anna Freud Centre in London, to attend the Christmas party.

She had already visited the Anna Freud Centre in Islington in the north of the London in the month of September, for his first official meeting after maternity leave taken for the birth of Princess Charlotte. This center is a place of research, training and mental health treatment of children and adolescents, closely associated with the University College London (UCL) and the University of Yale.

On Tuesday, the Duchess had the opportunity to meet all the children of the association. She moved to a table to prepare decorations, before using a djembe - an African drum - for a joyous musical session.

Like the first time, Kate went alone in the Anna Freud Centre for "its work in the mental health of the child." An issue that is particularly close to his heart. Last February, the Duchess Catherine urged, via video, all parents of the kingdom to help child victims of psychological trauma for the association "Place2Be" which she is the godmother/Patron.
