10:04:00

From November 9 to 12, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of Belgium was in Ethiopia in her capacity as Honorary President of UNICEF Belgium.
In her agenda while on Ethiopian soil included interviews with officials-including Ethiopia President Mulatu Teshome or the Vice President of the region of Oromia-, but especially visiting UNICEF projects in cities and that within disadvantaged communities living in remote areas of the country. These projects are linked to the survival of young children in its basic dimensions such as health, nutrition, safe water and sanitation.
The mother of Princesses Elizabeth and Eleanor and Princes Gabriel and Emmanuel also met with young girls who are victims of genital mutilated. To mark the beauty of this program, the Queen of Belgium has adapted her outfits choices to circumstances. If in the capital Addis Ababa it is displayed in a striped gold and black set and bedecked in a dress, she has focused on pants and comfortable shoes to travel to Jijiga, Harar or in the districts of Kersa and Gursum.
