Prince Charles and his wife Camilla Duchess of Cornwall commemorated the Armistice of November 11, 1918(Remembrance Day) at the beautiful Australian War Memorial in Canberra.
A day after their arrival in Australia, after five days in New Zealand, the prince and his wife began their day in the capital with a visit to the impressive memorial dedicated to Australian Veterans (alive or dead) who are actively serving at home or abroad with a commemoration ceremony.
After the celebration, their visit through Canberra continued at the National Arboretum, where Charles and Camilla were each planted a tree. The Duchess of Cornwall visited only in "French Black Truffles," a farmer black truffles. The opportunity for Camilla to taste local recipes using truffles, but also to attend a demonstration of hunting with a truffle-sniffing dog.
