For her first Official engagement of 2017, the Spanish Queen attends the first AEC meeting of the year

After the traditional Pascau Militar which marks the beginning of the institutional agenda of their Majesties, Doña Letizia has restarted her engagements by attending a working meeting with the Spanish Association Against Cancer.  The queen, who is the honorary president of the AECC, presided over this meeting in held with professionals and governing bodies of the organization, which Addressed the organization of the VI Forum to coincide with World Cancer Day on February 4th, which this year will be dedicated to prevention as a possible reality, as well as the action plan for this year and the strategic plan planned for the years 2017 to 2020.

For this working meeting compared to previous years 2015 and 2016, the Queen opted for a sober and formal executive style which she wore in which she emphasized a new garment styling: a navy blue coat type robe with a belt which she tied with a big bow.

This is a model Hugo Boss valued at 450 euros. Under this coat, which was remove whilst inside the AEC headquarters, Doña Letizia wore a jacket with a trouser and straight pants from Hugo Boss. She teamed the suit with a tonal cornflower blue knit top which she first wore for the opening of the 2015/2016 schoolyear

To complete her look, the Queen wore and Magrit 'Mila' blue leather pumps. and changed her inseparable handbags for a her Hugo Boss 'Norrmalm' business bag. The only cheerful touch of the outfit was a new pair of blue stone earrings from, Coolook. The gold-plated drop silver earrings features a gold champagne and natural stones of blue quartz hand carved irregularly




The Spanish Royal Courts: Nutrition on the heart of the concerns of Letizia

Special Ambassador of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Doña Letizia began her May commitments with Nutrition. Repeating the exact outfit she wore during a recent visit to the city of San Juan in Puerto Rico  consisting of Hugo Boss pieces with BOSS 'Kamalia' fitted blazer with metal detail and BOSS 'Acnes6' structured trousers. The sovereign combined it with a silk patterned houndstooth  shirt by Carolina Herrera (250 euros. Letizia completed her look with accessorized with tonal Magrit suede peep-toe pumps and a top-stitch flap clutch, a new clutch purse and the TOUS cultured freshwater pearl drop earrings. Letizia, smoothed her hair down, visited May 3rd at the Research Institute Food science (Cial) in Madrid. Depending on the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), the institute is responsible for the development of quality scientific research in the field of science and food technology.

The Dona who was accompanied by Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation Carmen Vela, first attended a meeting where various topics were presented: the role of human microbiology at the power response, food allergies, "algae: much more than a food of the future", etc. Letizia then visited laboratories where especially the gastrointestinal simulation platform and, in the pilot plant of the Institute, the Food Innovation Novalindus area.

Queen Letizia of Spain was officially named Special Ambassador of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) at a ceremony held in Rome on June 11th 2015. During this, she said she would engage in outreach activities to meet the global challenge of hunger and generate public support for its eradication. FAO, inter-governmental organization, aims to ensure that human beings have regular access to good quality food to enable them to lead healthy and active lives.

The Spanish Royal Courts: A Champion for the Red Cross Society

This Monday, May 9th Queen Letizia of Spain took over the management of Albacete, a town located 300 km southeast of Madrid in the province of Manche. There in the at City Hall took place the flagship event held in Spain for the World Day of Red Cross and Red Crescent Day celebrated in 189 countries worldwide.

The Dona of Spain who came alone, repeated an outfit she debuted at the Spanish Red Cross Fundraising Day in 2014.  Which consists of a white/black wool-blend check top by Danish label Designers Remix, paired with her signature black Hugo Boss trousers. As footwear she wore the Magrit 'Mila' pumps in black leather and she carried her Hugo Boss 'Fanila' clutch.  She finished the look with her Links of London Hope Egg earrings,

The Queen of Spain who chaired the event under the sign of youth and its fundamental role in building a more just and equitable world,
She was notably accompanied by the Secretary of State for Equality and Human Services, Susana Camarero. Letizia gave a speech and took part in the presentation of several gold medals from the Spanish Red Cross, the highest recognition of the institution.
