This is the period of royal wishes in the Netherlands. On Tuesday, King Willem-Alexander alongside his wife Queen Maxima, his mother Princess Beatrix and aunt Princess Margriet, for the first two New Year receptions in Amsterdam.

Dressed in a blue oil ascot blouse and a leather pencil skirt in exactly the same color, Maxima appeared January 12 Wool and Alpaca Blend Coat by Italian brand Etro, coordinated her reptile skin shoes, as she was about to enter the Royal Palace of Amsterdam with her husband King Willem-Alexander. Her blonde hair loose, the Queen of the Netherlands had matched her outfit with green emeralds earrings, a brooch and a ring adorned with emeralds and was holding a green suede pouch. The former Queen, Princess Beatrix had meanwhile opted for a look with several shades of blue. Her sister Princess Margriet, was wearing a fur hat in navy blue and gray.

This New Year reception was an opportunity for the royal couple  to receive several hundred personalities of Dutch society. For this year 2016, an emphasis on representatives of organizations working in the home care community. On Wednesday, January 13, a second reception for foreign diplomats will be held.
