The Danish Royal Courts: A radiant January 1st

The first chose a blue dress night, the second white. Alongside their husbands in full uniform, the princesses Mary and Marie, two stepdaughters of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, were radiant Friday January 1 for the annual New Year dinner.
It's an annual tradition, The Queen of Denmark does not wait. As of January 1, she host and receives at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, Danish government representatives, officials and members and employees of the Royal Court for dinner. And for the occasion, the ladies went all out on their evening gowns. For the 2016 vintage of this gala dinner on New Year, Queen Margrethe II opted for a pastel blue dress with lace bodice, she wore outside with a fur stole. Back from a holiday in her homeland of Australia where she spent the Christmas holidays with family, Crown Princess Mary, wife of Crown Prince Frederik, wore a dark blue outfit consisting of a glittering skirt from a previously worn JESPER HOVRING Dress and a velvet bodice extended trolling on the back, PRADA Satin Box Clutch. Princess Marie, the wife of Prince Joachim, was displayed on it in an immaculate dress embroidered flower corsage and diaphanous skirt from Gudnitz Couture. Adorned with tiaras, the three women were, like their husbands, among other decorations, their collar of the Order of the Elephant.
Like their guest, the royal family could enjoy a menu that has seen a succession in the plates fish terrine with jelly green tomato and fennel and celery raw vegetables, saddle of venison stew with sautéed corn and potatoes anna, green salad and beets seasoned with a vinaigrette, and finally rolled cake with bitter orange. All served with music and watered wine which, of course, the product Cahors vineyard Cayx, French owned by Queen Margrethe II and her husband the Prince Consort Henrik.
