The Danish Royal Courts: A Fairy God-mother brings smiles on the lips of sick children
11:27:00
On Monday, Princess Mary of Denmark visited the Hotel d'Angleterre in Copenhagen. A swarm of sick children are waiting for the lovely Crown Princess and Patron of the Heart Association (Hjerteforeningen).
This January 11th was her first solo royal engagement following the various royal reception. The wife of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark took part in the ceremony of presentaion of research fellowships awarded by "Hjerteforeningens" (the Heart Association), of which she is the Patron. And the young woman of 43, her hair down, chose to dress for the occasion of a top navy blue as his pocket on a wide asymmetrical skirt by Alexandra McQueen QUIDAM Alligator Clutch, GIANVITO ROSSI Suede Pumps.
At once simple and elegant, this look was perfect for the situation and allowed Mary to sit with ease in the midst of children. Before presenting scholarships, she was indeed met with small patients with congenital heart disease and their families. And the least we can say, given the shots immortalizing the event is that the little ones were excited to embrace the Crown Princess.
