The Dutch Royal Family: Face to Face with a dear person Princess Beatrix and Her grandmother Queen Wilhelmina

On Friday, October 2nd, the former Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands had on her program the opening of the exhibition "Held op sokkel" in the Historical Museum of The Hague. Organised as part of the 125th anniversary of the Historical Society Die Haghe it sponsors, it analyzes, through paintings, objects, photographs and films, the figure of the hero based on twelve famous people stood still like statues in space public in The Hague, William of Orange to Nelson Mandela. And among them, Queen Wilhelmina who reigned over the Kingdom of the Netherlands from 1890 to 1948, when she abdicated in favor of her daughter Queen Juliana, Princess Beatrix's mother.
