The Spanish Royal Court: A double anniversary for the United Nations and its member state Spain

Thursday October 29th was a double anniversary celebration in Madrid, in collaboration with the United Nations. This came with the opportunity for the queen Letizia and Felipe VI King of Spain to host Ban Ki-moon, the secretary general of the United Nation and his spouse.

On December 14, 1955, Spain joined the UN marking this year with its 60th anniversary which was celebrated with a little advance at the Royal Palace in Madrid during a ceremony which commemorated together the 70th anniversary of the United Nations.

 For this appointment very official, Queen Letizia chose to wear an outfit sober and chic. Its perfectly smooth bob square, had bet on a look two-tone black & white, combining a black pencil skirt in the same color as her Prada black Saffiano print patent leather pointy toe pumps shoes and her BOSS 'Bespoke T. Handle M' bag   purse in a white jacket signed Felipe Varela , stitched with black dotted lines on the front TOUS cultured freshwater pearl drop earrings.

The celebration of this double anniversary was held in three acts. Initially, King Philip VI held a meeting in the Hall of Tapestries with Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. Then the two men joined in the Hall of Columns queen Letizia, Yoo Soon-taek, wife of Ban Ki-moon and the various personalities invited for the actual celebration punctuated by the national anthem of an audiovisual presentation on the 60th anniversary of the entry of Spain in the UN, of a musical performance and discourse. Finally, the royal couple and the UN Secretary General visited the Gasparini room, where various objects were presented in connection with these two anniversaries.
