Her Majesty the Queen, Special Ambassador of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), attended the official ceremony of World Food Day, organized by the FAO in the framework of the celebration of its 70th anniversary

Upon her arrival at the auditorium of the Expo 2015 Milan, Letizia was received by the President of Italy, Sergio Matarella; Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-Moon and his wife, Yoo Soon-Taek; President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor; and the wife of the President of the Republic of Cape Verde, Lígia Fonseca.
