Earlier during the day she was alongside her husband King Willem-Alexander and her mother-in-law former Queen Beatrix in Amsterdam for a New Year reception ceremony on Wednesday, Maxima then spun to Rotterdam to launch an economic platform.

The Queen of the Netherlands had taken the time to change, swapping her Mattijs van Bergen dress, for a brown Clas-a Iversen coat and Lk Bennet golden heels-sandals for a more appropriate outfit for the occasion. Queen Maxima had accessorised it with a large reptile clutch. Always wearing a bun, the young woman of 44 years had kept the bracelets she was wearing earlier in the day to greet diplomats but changed earrings to give them a gold ISABELLE FA Necklace.

She visited the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam to launch a multi-year mutual aid in the growth program for small and medium enterprises. Present as a member of the Dutch Committee for Entrepreneurship and financing, she symbolically gave the kickoff of this NLGroeit platform, striking a gong as it sometimes.
