Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge, resumed her fundraising campaign for sick children. Prince William's wife was on Tuesday, January 24th 2017, in Quidenham, near Norwich, to help fund a new children's hospital in Norfolk.
This fundraiser, called "The Nook Appeal" was launched in 2014 by the Duchess of Cambridge, on behalf of the charity East Anglia's Children's Hospices. EACH, which Catherine is the patron of since 2012, supports families and cares for over 750 children with serious illnesses throughout the British East-Anglia region - Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and The Suffolk.
The campaign's goal is to raise £ 10m (€ 11.5m) to build a new children's hospital in Norfolk. Last June, in the majestic setting of Houghton Hall Castle, two steps from her country residence in Anmer Hall in Norfolk, Catherine had organized a charity gala (the first of her royal engagement) to raise £ 100,000 .
