Dans une déclaration publiée mercredi soir, le 18 janvier, la Cour Grand Ducale a annoncé le divorce entre le prince Louis et son épouse Tessy. «Leurs Altesses Royales le Grand-Duc et la Grande-Duchesse regrettent d'annoncer que le prince Louis et la princesse Tessy ont décidé de divorcer», dit le message du palais. «Dans ces circonstances douloureuses, ils comptent sur la compréhension de tous pour respecter la sphère privée du couple et de leurs enfants.

Prince Louis né le 3 août 1986 est le troisième fils du grand-duc Henri et de la grande-duchesse Maria Teresa, derrière le prince Guillaume et le prince Felix. Il est prince de Luxembourg, prince de Bourbon-Parme et prince de Nassau.

Le 29 septembre 2006, Louis a épousé Tessy Antony, née le 28 octobre 1985. Engagée dans l'armée luxembourgeoise, elle a participé en tant que conductrice de véhicule de transport à l'opération des Nations Unies au Kosovo. C'est lors d'une visite des troupes au Luxembourg que le prince rencontra sa future épouse.

Au moment de leur mariage, le couple avait déjà donné naissance à leur premier enfant Gabriel qui est né le 28 mars 2006 à Genève, en Suisse. Il est le premier petit-fils du grand-duc Henri et de la grande-duchesse Maria Teresa. Le couple a eu un deuxième fils, Noah, né le 21 septembre 2007.

Pour son mariage avec Tessy, Louis avait abandonné sa place dans l'ordre de succession au trône. À l'occasion de la fête nationale de 2009, Tessy et les deux garçons ont reçu les titres de princesse et de princes par le Grand-Duc Henri. Louis et Tessy, mariés et parents à 20 ans, ont poursuivi des études brillantes - dans la communication, elle dans les relations internationales. La famille vivait à Londres.

Prince Louis born on August 3rd 1986 is the third son of the Grand Duke Henry and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, behind Prince William and Prince Felix. BLouis is Prince of Luxembourg, Prince of Bourbon-Parme and Prince of Nassau.

On 29 September 2006, Louis married Tessy Antony who was born on 28 October 1985. Engaged in the Luxembourg Army, she participated as a transport vehicle driver in the United Nations operation in Kosovo. It was during a visit of the troops to the Luxembourg that the prince met his future wife.

At the time of their marriage, the couple had already given birth to their first child Gabriel who was born on  March 28th 2006 in Geneva, Switzerland. He is the first grandchild of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. The couple had a second son, Noah, born on September 21st 2007.

For his marriage with Tessy, Louis had abandoned his place in the order of succession to the throne. On the occasion of the national holiday of 2009, Tessy and the two boys received the titles of princess and princes by the Grand-Duke Henri. Louis and Tessy, married and parents at 20 years, have continued brilliant studies - in communication, she in international relations. The family lived in London.

Les «pensées sincères» du roi belge et sa femme sont avec les victimes d'aujourd'hui des attentats à Bruxelles, qui ont fait au moins 30 morts et des centaines de blessés le mardi 22 Mars. La ville de Bruxelles a été frappé par plusieurs attaques, le mardi 22 Mars, qui a tué au moins 34 morts et plus de 180 blessés, selon un bilan provisoire malheureusement.
Une première attaque - au moins deux explosions et peut-être des coups de feu - a eu lieu vers 08h00 dans le hall de départ de l'aéroport de Bruxelles National. Le bilan provisoire est de 14 morts et 81 blessés.
Deuxième suivi à 09h11 avec deux explosions se sont produites dans une rame de métro à la station Maelbeek, situé rue de la Loi, au coeur de la capitale belge. Le bilan provisoire est de 20 morts et 106 blessés.
Ces attaques surviennent deux jours après la prise de Salah Abdeslam à Bruxelles, le principal suspect en fuite des attentats du 13 Novembre à Paris, ont été revendiqués par le groupe djihadiste appelé "Etat islamique".

Qatar:  S.A l'émir Cheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani condoling les victimes des attentats qui ont eu lieu dans la capitale Bruxelles hier.
Il a exprimé la ferme condamnation de ces actes odieux de terrorisme, qui représentent une violation de toutes les religions, les valeurs morales et les principes humains. The "heartfelt thoughts" of the Belgian King and his wife are with today's victims of the attacks in Brussels which left at least 30 dead and hundreds injured on Tuesday 22 March. In a statement, Mathilde and Philippe expressed "shocked" by these "heinous and cowardly acts" that occurred in Brussels National Airport and the subway in the Belgian capital.

"The King and Queen are upset by the events at the Brussels National Airport and the Brussels metro. These acts are heinous and cowardly. The heartfelt thoughts of the King and Queen go first to the victims and their families and to the emergency services who make every effort to provide assistance to victims, "said the statement, posted on the official website of the Belgian Crown.


The city of Brussels was hit by several attacks, Tuesday, March 22, which killed at least 34 people dead and over 180 wounded, according to a provisional toll unfortunately.

A first attack - at least two explosions and possibly gunshots - occurred around 8:00 in the departure hall of Brussels National Airport. The provisional toll is 14 dead and 81 wounded.

Secondly, at 9:11, two explosions occurred in a subway train at the station Maelbeek, located rue de la Loi, in the heart of the Belgian capital. The provisional toll is 20 dead and 106 wounded.

These attacks occured two days after the capture of Salah Abdeslam in Brussels, the prime suspect on the run of the attacks of 13 November in Paris, were claimed by the jihadist group called "Islamic State".

Qatar:  H.H the Emir  Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani condoling the victims of the bombings which occurred  in the capital Brussels yesterday.
He expressed strong  condemnation of such despicable acts of terrorism, which represent a violation of all religions, moral values and human principles. The Emir reiterated Qatar’s rejection of violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations, whatever their motives and causes.
The Emir also expressed his heartfelt condolences to the king of Belgium and to the families of the victims and the Belgian people, and wished a speedy recovery for the injured.
HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, Crown Prince and the Deputy Emir  has also sent a cable of condolences to King Philippe of Belgium.
