The Norwegian Royal Courts: Diplomatic Dinner reception

The Norwegian Sovereign couple King Harald VI and Queen Sonja hosted the annual diplomatic corps dinner reception at the Royal Palace in Oslo. This dinner is held annually for the newest appointed Foreign diplomats. Also in attendance was the King's sister Princess Astrid, the couple's son Crown Prince Haakon accompanied by his spouse Crown Princess Mette-Maritt.


For the occasion the royal ladies dressed to impressed with an additional tiara. Crown Princess Mette-Marit recycle her red Emilio Pucci lace dress, with a matching red Valentino pumps and a clutch 

The Norwegian Royal Courts: Crown Princess Mette-Marit at a competition show

This Thursday, Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, wife of Crown Prince Haakon, was a competition show.

Hosted on campus of the BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo she was expected for the final of the "BI International Case Competition". This case competition put in competition, for 32 hours, 48 ​​students divided into 11 teams, as many countries.

The young woman of 43 years was chosen for the occasion to dress an olive green suit with white stitching and Cravat jacket collar. Mette-Marit had accessorized with a small bag and Louboutin eggplant pumps.

Greeted outside on arrival, she then took place in the room where they attended the final stage of the competition between the teams of Serbia, the United States and Australia. And it is the students of Belgrade University have established themselves.

The Norwegian Royal Courts: Crown Princess last 48 hrs in her agenda

Crown Princess Mette-Marit attended the opening of the Girls And Technology' (Jenter og teknologi) conference this morning. She stressed the importance of inspiring women to choose technology subjects. Many of the participants today are faced with their choice of study, and Crown Princess wished them good luck with an important choice.

The conference took place at Akershus University College in Oslo and is aimed at girls in middle school and in high school. The college offers education in technology, science and design, and the conference is part of their efforts to recruit more young women into these occupations. She wore her skirt suit by Prada and Gianvito Rossi pumps

Yesterday, Princess Mette Marit attended the rehearsal of the play Richard III which will premiere on Saturday night at the Royal Theatre in Oslo.



On February 8, 2016, Crown Princess Mette-Marit presented the "Brosteinprisen" Award (Paving Stone Award). (This award is given by Oslo City Mission to people who have struggled with poverty and injustice in the city and helped outcast homeless people. Petter Nyquist who is a photographer and television series producer was awarded this year by Crown Princess to Petter Nyquist at Oslo City Mission Place Cafe.)

The Norwegian Royal Courts: The 25th Anniversary of reign celebrations begin

This Sunday January 17th, Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja will celebrate the 25th (Silver Jubilee)anniversary of ascending to the Norwegian Throne following the passing away of King Harald V's father King Olav V. Events celebrating the anniversary began today and will take place all throughout the weekend.
Earlier today, Their Majesties granted audience to various municipalities, governorates, the government, the parliament, the church and representatives of other religions for congratulations protocol.
The public can also congratulate the Sovereign couple either at the castle or online(starting now till Sunday 17th at 00:00 Norwegian time).

The Norwegian Royal Courts: Crown Prince Haakon at the Youth Olympics came

This Saturday, Crown Prince Haakon of Norway has provided official kickoff of the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) to be held in Lillehammer in his country from 12 to 21 February.

Lillehammer will revive the Olympic Games spirit in the beginning of 2016. The Norwegian site which hosted the Winter Olympics in 1994 will again be at the heart of international sport in February. 1100 athletes aged 15-18 years in 70 different countries are expected for the second edition of the Olympic Winter Youth Games. The first was held in 2014 in Innsbruck, Austria.

The Norwegian Royal Courts: A day with mom at the Nobel Prize #NobelPrize #NobelPeacePrice

Like their Swedish neighbors, December 10 was synonymous Nobel Prize for the Norwegian royal family, since the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded in Oslo. The opportunity for Crown Princess Mette-Marit, to displayed in three different looks.

Mette-Marit began her "Nobel Peace Prize" day on Thursday morning, dressed in a navy blue together, rolled a gray scarf around his neck, the wife of Crown Prince Haakon visited the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo with her youngest son, Prince Sverre Magnus. There they found more than 200 children who had gathered to welcome the Nobel Peace Prize in 2015 -the quartet for Tunisian National Dialogue and ask questions as part of an event organized every year ahead of the award ceremony.
