The Swedish Royal Courts: Princess Sofia visited Sophiahemmet

On the afternoon of Thursday March 31st, in a last official visit before baby no one comes, a very pregnant Princess Sofia who will soon be giving birth to the couple's first child, but it did not prevent the soon to be mother to continue working tirelessly for her patronage Sophiahemmet, visited its surgical wards. The Princess is Sophiahemmet honorary chairman.
She began with a review of the hospital structure and description of caregivers work fromCEO Peter Seger and chief medical officer January Zedenius accounted for presentations.

They then visited the surgical department where the department head Thomas Johansen, received the princess and got her to take part in activities at the ward.

The Swedish Royal Courts: Queen Silvia and Princess Sofia attends a meeting with child rights organizations

Monday, March 21st Her Majesty Queen Sofia and soon to mother Princess Sofia attended a meeting at the Royal Palace together with child rights organizations in Sweden to discuss efforts to help newly arrived immigrants children and young people.
The queen was the Chairperson of the meeting, welcomed everyone to the Royal Palace to discuss cooperation. Invited representatives were from: The Ombudsman for Children, BRIS, Care about the children, ECPAT, Mentor Sweden, Plan International Sweden, Save the Children, Scouts, SOS Children's Villages, UNICEF and the World Childhood Foundation.


Initially presented the Ombudsman and the organizations that work done today with a focus on Sweden. Together they work with information dissemination, training and activities for children, parents, professionals and agencies.

This was followed by a workshop where the participants in groups discussed what is being done today and what needs to be developed. In a summary of the talks showed that there is a clear desire for collaboration between organizations, governments and civil society. The experience and knowledge needs to be shared and how important it is to listen to the children.

After the meeting Princess Sofia visited the Riddarholm Church and the Treasury together with the department of public activities. The Princess is standing right next to Karl XII's grave in the Riddarholm Church.

The Swedish Royal Courts: Princess Sofia attend Project Playground gala

A heavily pregnant Princess Sofia who will soon be giving birth to the couple's first child, but it did not prevent the soon to be mother to continue working tirelessly for her organization, Project Playground, which she attended the gala on Friday March 18th.

Even though the Prince Carl Philip had to cancel at the last minute to doctor's advice

Therefore, the princess taken to Gothenburg, where dinner was served in at the Auktionsverket Kulturarena in Göteborg. The purpose of the charity dinner is to provide fund for unaccompanied young people in the districts of South Africa. Project Playground is a Swedish non profit organization founded in 2010 which works for enhancing the chances of children and young people. For the evening the soon to be mother came in MORRIS Ophelia Faux Fur Jacket with GRETA Rose Gown accessorize with PRADA Leather Point Toe Pumps

The Swedish Royal Courts: The Prince Couple meets with UN ambassadors

On Thursday March 10, Their Royal Highness Prince Carl-Philip and Princess Sofia received in audience UN ambassadors at the Royal Palace. The ambassadors are in Sweden to discuss the follow-up to the climate meeting in Paris and the implementation of COP21 Agenda by 2030.

The prince opened the meeting with a welcoming speech and thanked the ambassadors for their commitment and work contributed to the agreement reached in Paris. The prince also spoke about the important work that follows and the Royal Family are particularly pleased that the objectives highlights the urgent issue of children's rights.
The Outfit Princess Sofia is wearing is one we have already seen on another pregnant Swedish Princess. Yeah Crown Princess Victoria had worn this Seraphine Ltd outfit on separate occasion. The Cropped Peplum Jacket was worn on the Crown Princess and her husband Prince Consort trip to Columbia in October 2015  and the 'Sophia' Pleated Dress which the Crown Princess last wore on one of her last engagement before going on maternity. The Swedish Royal Courts: Princess Sofia continues her fight against Cyber Bullying

Princess Sofia Duchess of Varmland held a meeting with Marten Schultz, law professor of Stockholm University and Angla Eklund, Law Institute CEO at the Royal Palace. The subject of the meeting was "näthat"(which means online threats and abuse. It is a legal term but not a general term and it can involve different crimes.) and how to deal with it on a legal point of view and in a court of law on February 25, 2016.

Prince Couple's Foundation
To combat bullying with the vision of children and young people should have the right and opportunity to be themselves, the purpose of Prince Couple's foundation. The work focuses on combating näthat/CyberBullying and disseminate knowledge about dyslexia. The basis for the work of the Foundation is Prince Couple's commitment to these issues.

Via the Prince Couple's foundation, the Prince and Princess work to fight bullying with the vision that children and young people should have the right to be themselves. New portraits has been release for the youngest generation of the Royal Family on the occasion of their birthdays.
Her Royal Highness Princess Estelle February 23 2012:

Duke of Västergötland. She is the first grandchild of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, and is second in line of succession to the Swedish throne.
Her godparents were her maternal uncle, the Duke of Värmland; her paternal aunt, Anna Westling-Söderström, King Willem Alexander, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark; and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway.

Happy 2nd Birthday to the lovely little Swedish lady H.R.H Princess Leonore, Duchess of Gotland. Born in 2014 as Leonore Lilian Maria Bernadotte to H.R.H Princess Madeleine, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland and Mr Christopher O'Neil. She is grand daughter to King Carl XVI Gustav and Queen Silvia. She is the eldest of 2 children her younger brother is Prince Nicholas, Duke of Angermanland. On 8 June 2014 (the first anniversary of her parents' wedding), Leonore was christened in the Royal Chapel of Drottningholm Palace into the Lutheran faith. Her godparents were her maternal aunt, Crown Princess Victoria, her paternal aunt, Tatjana d'Abo; her paternal uncle, Count Ernst Abensperg und Traun; her mother's cousin, Patrick Sommerlath; and friends of her parents, Alice Bamford and Louise Gottlieb. She is 5th in line to the Swedish Throne after her aunt Crown Princess Victoria, cousin Princess Estelle, uncle Prince Carl-Philip and mom. But in a couple of weeks may shift to 7th after the birth of two new cousin

The Swedish Royal Courts: New Postal Stamps

Sweden Postal Services PostNord release new postal stamps to celebrate various events in the Kingdom and the Royal Family being King Carl XVI Gustaf's 70th birthday and  Queen Silvia 40th anniversary as queen. In the mini sheet, released March 17, also draws attention to the two heirs to the throne Crown Princess Victoria and her daughter Princess Estelle.

The stamps were designed by Daniel Bjugård photographs by Anna-Lena Ahlström. The stamps are purchased in miniark with three stamps. The denomination is domestic letter.

The Swedish Royal Courts: Queen Silvia, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia at the meeting of Royal Academy of Fine Arts

Molded in an elegant red dress, Princess Sofia  pregnant with their first child, gracefully showed off mother-baby bump on Saturday, alongside her husband, Prince Carl Philip and her mother in law Queen Silvia.

While her husband King Carl XVI Gustaf was on an official three-day trip to Japan, Queen Silvia together with her son and daughter in law visited on February 19th at a meeting of the Royal Academy of Arts in Stockholm.

For the occasion, the beautiful Sofia opted for a scarlet shift dress with long sleeves, the embroidered flower corsage. It showed off her belly increasingly rebounded promise of the imminent birth of their first child. Her hair falling over her shoulders, the young woman of 31 years was accompanied by a red bag and MORRIS Ophelia Faux Fur Jacket, YSL Paris Patent Leather Pump.

Silvia had chosen to wear it on a brown scarf dress illuminated by multicolored geometric patterns.

The Swedish Royal Courts: Princess Madeleine with other young princesses

Princess Madeleine and My Big Day invited young school children at the Royal Palace. The foundation My Big Day's vision is: "All children with serious illnesses in Sweden should be a part of something positive out of the ordinary that provides power and self-esteem in a heavy day." Princess Madeleine is My Big Day royal patrons .
For the occasion Her Royal Highness wore the outfit she wore at the last year Nobel Prize meeting  a blue grey long dress by FADI EL KHOURY, box clutch by Jimmy Choo. When I mean by match her outfits it will be by doing this she borrow her aunt Princess Margaretha's Swedish Aquamarine Kokoshnik Tiara,
We last saw Her royal Highness and her mother Queen Silvia last week attending  a meeting with the International Council of World Childhood Foundation, at the Royal Palace
Another little princess was present, Princess Madeleine's daughter with husband Christopher O'Neil who celebrated her second birthday on Saturday Princess Leonor. She is in a pink dress
