The Hereditary Grand Duchess at an art exhibition

The official inauguration was scheduled for Friday, February 10th 2017 at 6 pm. The new exhibitions of the Mudam, the Grand-Duke Jean's modern art museum in Luxembourg, which open their doors to the public the following day, Saturday, February 11th. However, Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg was able to discover them as a preview on Thursday, February 9th. The Hereditary grand duchess was guided by the British artists Tony Gragg and Darren Almond who present their works there .

The daughter-in-law of the Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg wore a black and white dress printed with a flower-seed, with transparent sleeves. Her hair pulled in ponytail, the 32 year old woman had adorned small earrings.

Passionate about art, Stéphanie de Luxembourg appeared to the angels during this private visit. A privilege that she owes to the position of chairman of the board of Mudam, which she ensures since the beginning of 2016.

Opened in 2006, the Museum of Modern Art Grand Duke Jean, nicknamed Mudam, was built by the famous Sino-American architect Ieoh Ming Pei - the author of the pyramid of the Louvre in Paris - on the site of an ancient fortress , The Fort Thüngen. It houses permanent collections of world-renowned contemporary art and offers temporary exhibitions.

As with previous performances, Princess Stephanie of Monaco entered this evening on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, under the marquee of the 41st Monte-Carlo Circus Festival held every year in the nearby Fontvieille district Of the Rock. For this gala evening during which the prestigious Clowns of gold, silver and bronze and other awards were given to the Circassian artists, the little sister of Prince Albert II of Monaco was accompanied by the latter. At his side also, his son Louis Ducruet, who came with his companion Marie, and his youngest daughter Camille Gottlieb.

Stéphanie who is President of the occasion was in charge of awarding several of the awards and did not fail to pose with the lucky winners. And in particular with the adorable little Russian acrobats of the Trio Izhevsk, too cracking with their polka dot costume and their mats erected at the Fifi Brindacier. The three girls won the Cup in memory of Princess Antoinette (sister of Prince Rainier III). Which is given to the youngest artist of the festival.

Stéphanie passed on her passion for the circus to her children.  To the point that Pauline Ducruet, her eldest daughter aged 22, chairs as the international jury of "New Generation", a circus competition for young artists whose 6th edition will take place on February 4th and 5th under the marquee of Fontvieille at Monaco.

A weekend with the girls at the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival

She spent the weekend with her girls. Last Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd, Princess of Stéphanie of Monaco was with her two daughters, Pauline Ducruet and Camille Gottlieb, to attend various performances of the Monte-Carlo Circus Festival.

The Princess of Monaco had launched this 41st edition with her daughter Pauline during the week on Wednesday on the occasion of the traditional presentation, then the next day Thursday, during the opening night which she was supported by her daughter Pauline and also son Louis - just as last year with his charming companion, Marie. Camille Gottlieb, the last one of Princess Stephanie, was absent for the first two appointments, was thus finally present this weekend. Also present was TV presenter and France 2 host of Secret d'histoire Stephan Bern

Après avoir célébré le 40e anniversaire de l'événement l'année dernière, la Princesse Stéphanie de Monaco a officiellement lancé la 41e édition du Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo le mardi 17 janvier. Et dans un changement de son ouvreur habituel, ce n'est pas les éléphants qui l'ont accompagnée pour cette présentation traditionnelle, mais des lions de mer facétieux ...

Le temps est maintenant pour les répétitions sous le chapiteau mis en place comme chaque année dans le voisinage de Fontvieille, non loin des Rochers. Les représentations débuteront le jeudi 19 janvier. Plus de 120 artistes de 16 pays se produiront jusqu'au 29 janvier 2017. Pendant 10 jours, le Festival International du Cirque de Monte-Carlo fera vibrer les Monégasques, avec Stéphanie de Monaco en tête.

Présidente de l'événement, la plus jeune des enfants Rainer n'a jamais caché sa passion pour l'art du cirque. Lancée en 1974 par son défunt prince prince Rainier III de Monaco à l'occasion des 25 ans de son règne, ce festival est désormais sous la responsabilité de la princesse. Et l'avenir semble assuré puisque Stéphanie de Monaco a transmis sa passion à sa fille, Pauline Ducruet, qui l'accompagne chaque année à cette présentation.

President of the event, the youngest of the Rainer children never hid her passion for circus art. Launched in 1974 by her late father Prince Rainier III of Monaco on the occasion of the 25 years of his reign, this festival is now under the responsibility of the princess. And the future seems assured since Stéphanie de Monaco passed on her passion to her daughter, Pauline Ducruet, who accompanies her every year to this presentation.

At the initiative of the Friends of Luxembourg Museums Association, HRH Hereditary Grand Duchess Princess Stephanie visited "Picasso.Mania" exhibition  and hundred Picasso masterpieces facing the greatest masters of contemporary art, David Hockney, Jasper Johns, Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat and others.
