The Dutch Royal Courts: IN Memory of Prince Friso

Like last year, the late Dutch Princedied 12 August 2013 after 18 months in a coma following his skiing accident in the Austrian Alps, Prince Friso’s mother and his widow were side by side for his honor. Princess Beatrix and Princess Mabel had returned to the university in Delft Inholland where they attended the awarding of a Prince Friso Engineer of the Year award.
For the occasion, Princess Mabel of Orange-Nassau had chosen to dress in a mottled black and white dress was floor of shoes giving the illusion of black lace. Her mother-in law former Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands had opted for a silver dress with entire branches of bamboo and its coordinated khaki coat.
As a mechanical and aerospace engineer, Prince Friso, second son of the former sovereign, was a member of KIVI (Het Koninklijk Instituut van Ingenieurs - The Royal Institute of Engineers). Also this professional association of engineers and engineering students strong Netherlands more than 20 000 members she decided in 2015 to name his price for the Engineer of the Year, awarded it for some time the name of Prince Friso, the late brother of the current King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.

The Dutch Royal Courts & The Royal House of the Bourbon De Parma: The Royal Princess with the Hollywood Royalties

Tuesday evening, Princess Mabel and Princess Laurentien had an appointment with George Clooney in Amsterdam, where the American actor was the guest star of a charity gala.

George Clooney, what else! For the 2016 vintage Gala of the National Postcode Lottery (more great charity lottery in the Netherlands), the organizers had invited as guest of honor and speaker the famous American actor. The latter was not there for the promotion of his film career but for his commitment to human rights. If the King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima did not participate in this charity event that took place this January 26 at the Royal Theatre Carré in Amsterdam, the royal family of the Netherlands was well represented.

Among the VIPs who took the pose for the cameras, figured indeed Princess Laurentien, came solo in black pants coordinated with a sheer blouse of the same color , with white collar and cuffs, embroidered flowers and sequins squares. Also present on red carpet, her sister in Princess Mabel Von Oranje had also opted for black and multicolored flowers that adorned her jacket worn with a skirt. In addition to the two Princesses was their spouses' cousin prince Pieter-Christian , accompanied by his wife Princess Anita, and the Princess Viktoria of Bourbon-Parma who is pregnant with her second child

Two days before, on Wednesday December 2nd, also in Amsterdam, Queen Maxima, in a mottled gray skirt Natan together with a top with a belt, pearls, and  gray Gianvito Rossi shoes, participated in the awards ceremony at the Palace Royal: the Prince Claus Grand Prize. With Princess Laurentien again at his side, were present for this event their spouses King Willem-Alexander and Prince Constantijn and their mother in law Princess Beatrix and sister in law Princess Mabel Von Oranje. Awarded this year to the Iranian photographer newsha tavakolian this distinction, created in 1996 in honor of Claus von Amsberg -spouse of Queen now Princess Beatrix disappeared in 2002 at the age of 76 years-honors personalities and organizations that embody the goals of the Prince Claus Found: outstanding work in the field of culture and development in Asia, Latin America and Africa.

Last Monday, November 30, accompanied by his sister in law the Princess Laurentien, Queen Maxima was at the Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, a concert hall in Amsterdam. Wearing a Natan in a dress bodice and curved line skirt printed with a geometric black and white pattern, which she had given to nude LK BENNETT pumps and  clutch, the Queen of the Netherlands awarded the "Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds Prijs 2015 "to the Dutch architect Francine Houben. The name of the husband of the former queen Juliana and father to Princess Beatrix and Grandfather to their spouse King Willem-Alexandre and Prince Constanjin, crown this award annually to an individual or institution in the Netherlands with extensive experience in the field of culture or nature.
