The Dutch Royal Courts: The Spider brooch is back ‪#‎Koningsdagsconcert

In a sober,classic look this April 18th evening to Maxima, Queen of the Netherlands had opted for a Natan gray trousers to attend a concert in Zwolle, a town 80 km north-east of Amsterdam. But often, when Her Majesty chooses to wear a plain unicolor outfit, she choses to accessories with a jewel or a non-standard accessory. And on Monday was no exception. The mother of three had indeed chosen to pin on her jacket belted two big CELEDOINO JEWELRY Brooch spiders with long legs twinkling. These animal-pin agreed with her earrings, wide rings gray pearls.

Well dressed and her hair down, Queen Maxima attended the Theater De Spiegel in Zwolle in the recording of traditional Koningsdag (Day of King)concert . Which will air on April 27th on Dutch television.

They were accompanied by Former Queen now Princess Beatrix, in a predominantly fuchsia dress worn outside under a gray cloak lined with fur, and Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven husband of Princess Margriet, one of the sisters of the former sovereign and aunt of the current king of the Netherlands.


The Dutch Royal Courts: IN Memory of Prince Friso

Like last year, the late Dutch Princedied 12 August 2013 after 18 months in a coma following his skiing accident in the Austrian Alps, Prince Friso’s mother and his widow were side by side for his honor. Princess Beatrix and Princess Mabel had returned to the university in Delft Inholland where they attended the awarding of a Prince Friso Engineer of the Year award.
For the occasion, Princess Mabel of Orange-Nassau had chosen to dress in a mottled black and white dress was floor of shoes giving the illusion of black lace. Her mother-in law former Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands had opted for a silver dress with entire branches of bamboo and its coordinated khaki coat.
As a mechanical and aerospace engineer, Prince Friso, second son of the former sovereign, was a member of KIVI (Het Koninklijk Instituut van Ingenieurs - The Royal Institute of Engineers). The Dutch Royal Courts: National Volunteering Day

Having just returned from their state visit to France, The sovereign couple were on Saturday taking part in the National Voluteering Day which included a spring cleaning in a playground in Alphen aan den Rijn.
They had traded the glitz and glamour of the previous night for a pressure hose with one hand, a scrub brush on the other. As for her husband, King Willem-Alexander, also in jeans, he was pushing a wheelbarrow filled with sand.
Like every year,  Willem-Alexander and Maxima take part in all simplicity to NLdoet, Dutch National Volunteer Day organized by the Oranje Foundation. The King and Queen of the Netherlands had chosen to mobilize this year in Alphen aan den Rijn. On the program: cleaning play structures for children and filling of the sandbox of a recreational area created in 1951 in a district of this city of 73,000 souls between Leiden and Utrecht.

Willem-Alexander and Maxima werent the only members of the Dutch royal family to roll up their sleeves for the two days of national volunteering. On Friday, March 11, the former Queen now Princess Beatrix was handling a small paint roller in an equestrian therapy center for disabled and handicapped in Den Dolder on the outskirts of Utrecht, with Princess Aimée, the wife of her nephew Prince Floris who was armed with secateurs to cut branches with his cousin Prince Constantijn to make feasible the forest trails used by riders of this structure and the adapted carriage for people with multiple disabilities.
As for Princess Margriet she polished together her husband Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven venerable fire truck in a museum in Borculo, east of the country.
