The Belgian Royal Courts: A visite to Malines

On Saturday December 12th 2015, Queen Mathilde and King Philippe of Belgium were in the Flemish land. The King and Queen of the Belgians traveled to Mechelen, a town in the Dutch province of Antwerp where they attended the enthronement Mass of the new archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels.

La Cour Royale Belge: Leurs Majeste receuille a Malines

Le samedi 12 Décembre 2015, la Reine Mathilde et le roi Philippe de Belgique étaient dans le pays flamand. Le roi et la reine des Belges se sont rendus à Malines, une ville dans la province néerlandaise d'Anvers où ils ont assisté à la messe d'intronisation du nouvel archevêque de Malines-Bruxelles.

Dans l'édifice gothique, Mathilde et Philippe de Belgique ont eu lieu côte à côte dans la première rangée pour assister à l'Eucharistie au cours de laquelle l'évêque catholique Jozef De Kesel a pris officiellement ses fonctions à la tête de l'archidiocèse de Malines-Bruxelles. Situé dans le centre de la Belgique, l'archidiocèse couvre plusieurs provinces: Brabant wallon, Brabant flamand, une petite partie d'Anvers et la Région de Bruxelles-Capitale.
