The Spanish Royal Courts: Memorial Service in memory of Ecuador

Last Tuesday, May 17th Madrid paid tribute to the victims of the terrible earthquake which occured last April in Ecuador. A Mass was celebrated at the Cathedral of Santa Maria la Real de la Almudena in memory of the hundreds of deaths and thousands of injured and homeless. Their Majesties Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI attended the religious ceremony that brought together representatives of institutions and the Spanish civil society and the diplomatic corps and the Ecuadorian community in Spain.

To this sad appointment, Letizia had chosen to wear tight black Felipe Varela skirt suit, Magrit 'Mila' pumps and Felipe Varela chevron stitch clutch. The mother of two, who had left her slicked hair down, was decorated with small earrings silver star shaped.

On April 16th, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake caused the death of nearly 700 people and left more than 12,000 wounded in north-western Ecuador. The tremor, which was felt as far as Peru and Colombia, has particularly affected the most tourist region of the Pacific coast of the Latin American countries, between the provinces of Esmeraldas and Manabi.

This Wednesday, May 18th a new earthquake, of magnitude 6.8, rocked Ecuador. This would be a replica of the earthquake a month earlier. AFP said its epicenter was 14.7 km depth near the coast of the country in the province of Manabi. At this time, no victim is to be deplored.

The British Royal Courts: Renovations plans at the Princess of Wales Memorial

This August 31st 2017 it will be just 20 years since the people princess Lady Diana passed away in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma in Paris. If it is still unclear how this sad anniversary will be commemorated, including her two sons Princes William and Harry, however the Spencer family has just announced that it would restore her memorial.

Divorced from Prince Charles, the late Princess of Wales was buried on September 6th 1997 on the Spencer family property where she rests on an island on the lake "Round Oval" Castle Althorp Park. Located between Birmingham and Cambridge in Northamptonshire, this area belongs to Spencer since the sixteenth century. The public has access to the site since 1937, when Count Albert Spencer, the grandfather of Diana, decided to open the doors for financial reasons. However visitors can not approach the tomb of Lady Di. They must be content, from the shores of the lake to see the island on which stands a bronze urn. And they can pray before a shrine erected to his memory in the park.

In the summer of 2014, Darren McGrady, former chef of Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana and her son, had rebelled about the lack of maintenance of the burial of the young woman disappeared in just 36 years. Posting a photo on his Twitter account, he said: "If I took care of Princess Diana during her lifetime as you do after her death, I would have been fired." "Please look after the vegetation of the island. Prove you want Princess Diana sits there for love and not just to make money. " He was countered him at the time that the place was well maintained and it was just seaweed that had spread because of the heat.

However, in spring 2016, the family of Diana reported that a restoration would be committed. A spokesman of the Spencer family has said in effect, according to comments reported by the "Daily Mail": "The Round Oval where Diana, Princess of Wales, is based undergone an extensive redesign to honor his memory. This will be completed for the 20th anniversary of his death in August 2017 ".

The Belgian Royal Courts: Their Majesties visiting Tuesday victims bed site

Wednesday March 23rd morning, the Belgian King Philippe and Queen Mathilde went to the Erasmus Hospital in Anderlecht, where some of the hospitalized people injured in the terrible attacks that occurred on Tuesday in Belgium. The royal couple was accompanied by Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel and the Minister of Social Affairs and Public Health Maggie De Block. They went to the bedside of victims of the attacks and met with members of the emergency services and health workers and were also given a brief update on the management of these injuries.

After taking part at noon, the national minute silence, around the Rond Point Schuman in Brussels, the King and Queen of the Belgians then went on Wednesday afternoon at the Military Hospital Queen Astrid in Neder-over -Heembeek. They will meet the same victims as well as family members and caregivers.

The Spanish Royal Courts: The Sovereign Couple attends 'In Memoriam" concert

Thursday evening was held in the Spanish capital the annual concert in tribute to victims of terrorism.  King Felipe VI of Spain there was of course present, with his spouse Queen Letizia .

It is a fact that keeping Letizia came on the arms of HM King Felipe March 10 this evening at the National Music Auditorium in Madrid. The young woman of 44 years chose to wear a sleeveless Nina Ricci black cloqué dress under a grey Nina Ricci tweed swing coat. She accessorized her outfit with the Nina Ricci 'Arc' clutch and wore the Prada black Saffiano print patent leather pointy toe pumps,  TOUS gold long dangle earrings.  A sober look that was perfect for the evening in which it participated: a concert "In Memoriam" in tribute to victims of terrorism in Spain which brought together the major institutions of the state, the government, political parties and representatives of the Spanish economic and social world.

After the singing of the national anthem, the Sovereign couple of Spain and the whole audience and musicians observed a minute of silence in memory of all victims of terrorism. Then occurred Symphony Orchestra and the choir of Radiotelevisión Española in a directory that has seen a succession of Gabriel Fauré's Requiem and Symphony in C minor by Ludwig van Beethoven.

The first edition of this tribute concert was held on 25 June 2003 and was then chaired by Queen Sofia. On terrorism, Madrid, capital of Spain, had been dramatically affected less than a year later, March 11, 2004 -very exactly two and a half years after the attacks of 11 September 2001 in the United States-, by several explosions in commuter trains, making 191 dead and some 1,900 injured.

The Greek and Spanish Royal Courts: The annual memorial ceremony of King Pavlos and Queen Queen Frederika at the cemetery of Tatoi

The Spanish and Greek royals were out in force on Saturday for a memorial ceremony commemorating 52 years since the passing of King Pavlos I(Paul in english) of Greece and Queen Frederika.
Just like every years, siblings former Queen Sofia of Spain, former King Constantine II of Greece and Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark stood together as they remembered their father, who died on March 6th 1964.
Unlike previous years, former Queen Sofia wasn't accompanied by her three children King Felipe VI, Princess Cristina(who is currently in a legal fraud battle) and Princess Elena of Spain, as well as Felipe's wife, Queen Letizia.

Unlike his sister King Constantine and his wife Queen Anne-Marie didn't attend with the whole family but came with their two son London-based Crown Prince Pavlos who came without the family but his brother Prince Nikolaus was present.

During the service the royals laid wreaths on the tomb of King of Paul, who is buried next to his wife Queen Frederica.

The memorial service was held 5 km north of Athens's suburbs, at the Greek Royals' former summer palace Tatoi Palace. The estate was abandoned in 1973, although many graves, including King Pavlos I's and Queen Frederika's remain in the Tatoi Royal Cemetery which is located in a large wooded area at the south end of the estate.

The British Royal Courts: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge pay tribute at the French Embassy

Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge visited the French Embassy in London on November 17, 2015 and met with French Ambassador Sylvie Bermann. The couple signed a book of condolence for the victims of the Paris attacks, and offered their deepest sympathies.
The Duchess wore the black polka dot skirt suit, which she paired it with her Stuart Weitzman 'Power' pumps and sapphire earrings
