Le 21 Janvier, le prince Joachim et la princesse Marie ont commencé une visite de travail à l'Islande qui va durer pendant deux jours dans le cadre des célébrations du 100e anniversaire de la création de l'Association Danemark-Islande. La nuit dernière, le couple a assisté à une réception organisée par l'Association Danemark-Islande. L'Association Danemark-Islande vise à renforcer le lien entre le Danemark et l'Islande, et il organise des conférences, des concerts et des expositions à cet effet. Cette année, l'Association célèbre le 100e anniversaire de sa création. Les célébrations de l'anniversaire ont lieu à Reykjavik, en Islande.

On January 21st, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie started a working visit to Iceland that will last for two days within the scope of celebrations of 100th anniversary of establishment of the Denmark-Iceland Association. Last night, the couple attended a reception organized by the Denmark-Iceland Association. The Denmark-Iceland Association aims to strengthen the bond between Denmark and Iceland, and it organizes conferences, concerts and exhibitions for that purpose. This year, the Association celebrates 100th anniversary of its establishment. The anniversary celebrations take place in Reykjavik, Iceland.

Princess Marie of Denmark attended International World Autism Conference in Herning, Denmark on Friday January 15th. She is the patron of the Danish branch and Denmark's representative at World Autism Foundation.

Princess Mary of Denmark and her husband Prince Joachim were visiting, Wednesday, December 16, at the Embassy of France in Copenhagen, for a projection of the series "Versailles".

Marie and Joachim could finally discover this greatest television event of the year 2015. The historical saga of Canal + and the most expensive series in the history of French television - nearly 30 million Euro.

The series focuses on the tumultuous relationship between the omnipotent Louis XIV and his homosexual brother Philippe of Orleans. It depicts the intrigues to increase or limit the authority of a young king who has not yet become the Sun King.

Amid the love games of the Court, it neutralizes its potential enemies, builds its power and transformed the palace into a symbol of his influence. The writers have mixed imaginary characters, rumors or legends (Métis child of Queen Maria Theresa of Austria) with historical fact.

La série se concentre sur la relation tumultueuse entre le puissant Louis XIV et son frère homosexuel Philippe d'Orléans. Il décrit les intrigues pour augmenter ou limiter l'autorité d'un jeune roi qui n'a pas encore devenu le Roi Soleil.

Au milieu des jeux de l'amour de la Cour, il neutralise ses ennemis potentiels, construit sa puissance et transformé le palais en un symbole de son influence. Les écrivains ont mélangé des personnages imaginaires, des rumeurs ou des légendes (Métis enfant de la reine Marie-Thérèse d'Autriche) avec des faits historiques.
