Le 27 Avril, le roi d'Espagne est arrivé au stade Vicente Calderón à Madrid avec sa fille aînée la Princesse des Asturies, la princesse Leonor pour voir concourir en demi-finale de la Ligue des Champions Atletico Madrid et le Bayern Munich. Cette fois, c etait, la petite princesse des Asturies agee de 10 ans a créé la surprise. Ce fut la première fois que la fille aînée du roi Felipe VI et de la reine Letizia d'assister à un match de football, et plus généralement à un événement sportif qui accompagne son père. En outre, il a également été la première fois que l'héritier du trône d'Espagne était un acte public que dans son père, la compagnie du roi.
