The Japanese Imperial & Royal Courts: Princess Mako on the Mayan traces

H.I.H Princess Mako, first grandchild of Emperor Akihito of Japan, visited Honduras this week to celebrate 80th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Southern American countries, as it had been on a previous visit to El Salvador.

The second daughter of Princess Kiko and Prince Akishino Fumihito (the second son of Emperor Akihito) was greeted Sunday, December 6 by First Lady Ana Garcia Hernandez, at the international airport San Pedro Sula.
On the day, the Japanese Princess visited the Sculpture Museum of Copan. The next day, Princess Mako of Akishino visited the archaeological site of the ancient Mayan city, located 400 kilometers northwest of the capital, Tegucigalpa, in full jungle. She also inaugurated the new digital museum of Copán. The Mayan city, the ruins of which are on the list of World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 1980, culminated in the seventh century before being abandoned around the tenth century.The visit had particularly Princess interest. Mako has indeed a degree in museology.
On Tuesday, the princess was in Tegucigalpa for a reception at the palace of President Juan Orlando Hernandez and his wife. Before his visit to Honduras for the same reason

The Japanese Imperiale &Royal Courts: Crown Prince Masako illuminates the annual fall gathering

Thursday November 12th, the traditional autumn garden party organized every year at the Imperial Garden in Tokyo Akasaka by Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko.
And unlike the previous decade, Japanese Imperial Highness Crown Princess Masako was present among the members of the Imperial family who had were invite.
She had been conspicuously absent as for the fall garden party ago a year, and for the Annual Spring garden party in April 21. But on November 12, Crown Princess Masako, wife of Crown Prince Naruhito, the eldest son of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko.
And she could not go unnoticed, as she lit up the event by her outfit. She had indeed opted for a bright purple together and was wearing a hat exactly the same tone exceed letting her long black hair dressed in Western assemble. Equally, while they were in kimonos for garden parties last fall and this spring, Empress Michiko and her other daughter in law Princess Kiko, who recently came back from an official trip to Brazil with her husband Prince Akishino, had opted for the first fit and bibi in shades of gray the second for a white suit and matching hat. Alongside Kiko stood their eldest daughter Princess Mako, 24 years old who was sported a coral coordinated a brown hat with a big flower in the same color as her dress and jacket. The latter had also missed the previous two receptions in the imperial Akasaka Garden as she was attending school for her master in the United Kingdom for in the greatest secrecy.

The Japanese Imperial and Royal Courts: Their Imperial Highness trip to Brazil continues

The last stage of their Imperial Highnesses Prince Akishino and his is wife Princess Kiko's Brazilian journey took them to Rio de Janeiro.

Not unseen by anyone passing through Rio de Janeiro, the Christ the Redeemer statue Corcovado and Sugar Loaf were this Sunday, November 8 at the last activities in Brazil. But the rainy weather came to play spoilsport. Heavy rainfall has compromised the discovery of the city of Cariocas.

Fortunately the weather was warmer yesterday when they took part in the inauguration of the renovated Japanese Garden of the Botanical Garden of the city. The opportunity for the Imperial princely couple of drawing a camera and to pose in this botanical garden with very rich plant collections in front of a tree at dizzying size as ordinary tourists.
