Evening gala anniversary for King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia May 5 this evening. Together the couple chaired the celebration of 40 years of the Spanish media "El PaÃs" demonstration which took place at the Palacio de Cibeles in Madrid. For the occasion, the former presenter of the news on TVE public television channel that was found in her element among media professionals, had surprised every one looking elegant opted for a deubutant in her wardrobe a new frock from Cortana. This is the first piece she has worn by the Spanish label. The label was founded by designer, in 2001 by Spanish designer Rosa Esteva Majorcan who takes an artisanal approach to her designs. The Cortana line offers relaxed feminine silhouettes for day and evening. All of Cortana’s collections are designed and manufactured by skilled ateliers in Barcelona. Her Majesty appeared in a (€940) SS16 Collection 'Valentina' dress in blue. Her wavy hair pulled into a bun, the young woman of 43 years had increased the glamour to her look by metallic snake embossed flap clutch bag, dressing in new pair of beaded waterfall earrings and footwear were the new pair of bronze leather heels. They are a bespoke version of Magrit's 'Vanessa' model
This anniversary dinner of the daily "El PaÃs", whose first issue appeared on newsstands May 4, 1976, six months after the death of General Franco, was marked by the delivery of 33 Ortega y Gasset Journalism Award honoring the best journalistic works in the media in Spanish language worldwide, giving priority to the defense of freedom, independence, rigor, curiosity and passion as core values of journalism. With 15 000 euros and a commemorative engraving, this award honors the philosopher José Ortega y Gasset, whose son Jose Ortega Spottorno is the founder of "El PaÃs".
