The Spanish and Greek royals were out in force on Saturday for a memorial ceremony commemorating 52 years since the passing of King Pavlos I(Paul in english) of Greece and Queen Frederika.
Just like every years, siblings former Queen Sofia of Spain, former King Constantine II of Greece and Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark stood together as they remembered their father, who died on March 6th 1964.
Unlike previous years, former Queen Sofia wasn't accompanied by her three children King Felipe VI, Princess Cristina(who is currently in a legal fraud battle) and Princess Elena of Spain, as well as Felipe's wife, Queen Letizia.

Unlike his sister King Constantine and his wife Queen Anne-Marie didn't attend with the whole family but came with their two son London-based Crown Prince Pavlos who came without the family but his brother Prince Nikolaus was present.

During the service the royals laid wreaths on the tomb of King of Paul, who is buried next to his wife Queen Frederica.

The memorial service was held 5 km north of Athens's suburbs, at the Greek Royals' former summer palace Tatoi Palace. The estate was abandoned in 1973, although many graves, including King Pavlos I's and Queen Frederika's remain in the Tatoi Royal Cemetery which is located in a large wooded area at the south end of the estate.
