Alors que le prince Charles, qui a fait de la protection de l'environnement un de ses combats, assis sur un banc dans le sanctuaire écologique de la Orokonui avec son épouse Camilla, il n'a pas hésité à prendre dans sa main petite bête qui est tout simplement un Sphenodon ou également connu comme Tuatara, cette espèce originaire de Nouvelle-Zélande est le seul survivant d'une vieille classe des reptiles qui existait dans le même temps que les dinosaures.

Avant de visiter le sanctuaire, un peu plus tôt dans la journée la duchesse de Cornouailles a visité à Tawa Collège Charles, le Centre national de danse Te Whaea en compagnie de Janine Mateparae, l'épouse du gouverneur général de Nouvelle-Zélande, le couple royal avait gauche Wellington jeudi, direction sud-est de l'île de Dunedin.

Président de la Tunisie Béji Caïd Essebsi effectuera une visite d'Etat en Suède 4 à 6 Novembre, à l'invitation du roi. La veille de la visite d'Etat a informé le ministère des Affaires étrangères et de la reine et la princesse héritière des questions d'actualité en Tunisie.
