On their second day in New York, Dutch King Willem-Alexandre and Queen Maxima met with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon ahead of another day  before a meeting on the sideline of the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly at the UN in New York on September 29, 2015.

Swedish King Gustaf and Queen Silvia met with met experts from the Foreign Ministry to obtain in-depth knowledge of Lithuania before the state visit on September 29th at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
This visit is a first since 1992 on an invitation from Lithuanian President  Dalia Grybauskaitė. It will take place from October 7 to 9

HRH Crown Princess Mary is in New York on an official visit from September the 27 to 29  to participate in a number of activities related to the UN General Assembly. The trip is under the auspices of Crown Princess Mary's commitment to the promotion of women's and girls' rights and gender equality, including the Crown Princess membership of the High Level Task Force for the International Conference on Population and Development.

On her first day she visited the North Nordic Food Festival during what's called Denmark Day.



















She then attended the #Generation2030: Torchbearers for SDB's, focusing on young people's role in the implementation of the new world goal.


















Later that evening, she attended the event Mobile Innovations for Maternal Health created by the Danish organization Maternal Foundation. She gave the opening speech

Then after her and King Willem-Alexandra met with Prime ministers of the Kingdom of the Netherland's territories of Aruba, Sint Maarten and Curaçao

Today Monday September 28, His Majesty King Willem-Alexandre addressed the United Nations General Assembly at the opening of the annual meeting of the 193 member states of the United Nations. It is the first time that a Dutch head of state addresses the UN General Assembly.

Her Majesty Queen Rania took part in the 4th Global Citizen Festival in New York
